Wicked Awesome!

Okay, no more fooling around! I recorded this medley at 1:40 in the morning and at that hour – while all of you were sleeping – I was in the mood to play the type of music this site was created for!

Among these musical treasure is a song for Doug Grahn, a birthday song for Stephanie Ketcham, a back-to-back-to back selection of Motown songs, the debut single for a trio STILL waiting for the Hall of Fame to call, the death of an Animal, and a whole lot more!

Fourteen songs in 41 minutes!

The PP&M snub is outrageous, but then again, the clowns running the show forgot a long time ago what their mission was.
I’m very glad you enjoyed Motown!

Thank you, Mary Helen. I still, even after retiring 17 years ago, wake up at 1:30 or 2:00 every morning, just like the radio days. Trust me, I take naps during the day! 🙂
I’m so glad you enjoyed the music! ❤️

Yes, I was asleep while you were working on this great medley. Probably snoring away. I listened again to yesterday’s medley along with today’s while shoveling my driveway and my elderly neighbor’s. The music helps a LOT!

Status Quo’s version of “The Wanderer” was good and many others have sang that song. My favorite version, though, is still Dion’s.

I absolutely love “Hot Rod Lincoln! I can’t wait to get Killian’s thoughts. My grandfather drove a Lincoln Continental back in the day and might be one of the reasons I liked this song so much.
Oh, and I will let you know that I am in love with Lesley Gore. She had a lot of songs that I liked…This one, “Sunshine, Lollipops & Rainbows”, “It’s My Party” and “That’s the Way Boys Are”.
I also liked the Mindbenders’ song, “A Groovy Kind of Love”.

Have a good-feeling and great day, Ray! ❤️🙏✌️

      Thank you, Jim!
I was a big Lesley Gore fan, too. Loved “Warm California Nights”
I’m so glad the music helped with the shoveling. To make things fair, I was probably taking a nap while you were doing that so I guess we’re even!
      Have a wonderful day! ❤️

Such a great medley … So sweet of you to play “Harvest Moon” for Stephanie. She LOVES that song, I LOVE that song and I LOVE her 🙂 Hearing it today, on her birthday reminds me why I love it so much. I have memories of all of the times we have indeed looked at the harvest moons and full moons. All of the times we’ve shared rainbows and the times while living in Northern Vt. we stayed up late to experience the majestic northern lights and the sky so full of stars!! Such a beautiful “dance” it has been ~ A mother, daughter(s) love song
