Wonderful Wednesday!

This is a packed combination of rock hits and mellow classics. It’s one of those, you know, something for everyone type of medleys.

We have our final four requested songs, including one that failed to generate any listener interest until a 1970 version of it took the world by storm. We also have … no! I’m not going to go on and on. I’m just going to have you listen with your own ears!

You’ll be glad you did!

It always amazes me how you weave the songs of our youth and your commentary together. Many of these I hadn’t heard for a long while.
    Another extremely enjoyable medley today.

Starshine, here comes the sun, house of the rising sun— I think we’ve got something going here. What a fabulous medley. Never sang so much in my whole life. I especially loved, Dan Williams, always makes me cry, the carpenters, with a career cut so short and. John Denver. I have always adored his music. So something up not to say that I didn’t love the rest because I sure did, but those were my highlights. You did it again, and now I get to go back and listen to yesterday, which was completely occupied with going to the cancer lab for blood work, which is now done quarterly to be sure that I have no more cancer cells in my body. I am passing along this good fortune to you once your surgery has been completed and you’ve had one other treatments that are required. We have a lot of living left to do!! You’re the best!🥰

Congratulations on the reduced cancer screenings! That fact thrills me more than any of the wonderful things you had to say about the medley!

We liked a lot of these…especially Killian’s “Oh, Oh, Oh, What a Guy”!

Oliver’s “Good Morning Starshine” changed into Good Morning “Starburst” after Killian’s new kitten.
I loved the Carpenters’ “Close To You”. Karen was one of my dad’s very favorite singers if not his favorite.
We liked Badfinger’s “Baby Blue” and the Beach Boys’ “Sail on, Sailer”.

And, don’t think you can hide “The Shit has hit the fan.” in any song without Killian hearing it! 😂🤣😂 He liked Warren Zevon’s “Lawyers, Guns & Money”.

    Thanks for the fun!
