Okay, it’s time to get serious as we begin to wind down to the end of the “12 Days of Christmas” medleys. Today that means music on a (mostly) mellow note.
Some of these songs will be familiar to you, while others will hopefully be a new and joyful experience.
The medley features established icons from Bing Crosby, Johnny Mathis, Elvis Presley, John Denver, Alabama, and Trans-Siberian Orchestra to perennial favorites Pentatonix, Canadian superstar Aselin Debison, and Country music legend Don Williams.
We’ve also added the Superlatives, a New Hampshire high school a cappella choral group (in full disclosure, that group included my grandson and part-time Streamingoldies DJ, Dylan Place) to round out a medley filled with the true meaning of Christmas.

12 Days of Christmas, Day 8
Johnny Mathis – Bing Crosby
Pentatonix – John Denver
Alabama – Aselin Debison
Superlatives – Trans-Siberian Orch
Don Williams – Elvis Presley
Wow, What a treat! Starting with Johnny Mathis, loving the Pentatonix, listening to T’was the night before Christmas in that melodic voice of Don Williams and Alabama. Loved hearing their wonderful blended voices! Have always loved the Trans-Siberian Orchestra! And finishing with Elvis Presley, the one, and only rock ‘n’ roll king, wishing every day could be Christmas! I loved this entire medley! It was awesome. Again, thank you for doing such a wonderful job for us. You’re the best! 🎄🎅🏻❄️🥰
Thank you, Sandy! ❤
I like to think Mr. Mathis set the mood and everything else just fell into place.
I thought Elvis wrapped it up quite nicely. 🙂
We loved all of these and especially liked the Superlatives because your grandson, Dylan, was singing. It’s especially nice when wee know one of the performers!
Killian also loved listening to Don Williams’ story telling.
Thank you, Ray, and have a great “8 days until Christmas Day”, as Killian says.
Thanks, boys! ❤❤
I am very glad you enjoyed the music. I like to tease Dylan about being a rock start with 2 albums under his belt. He just laughs and asks me why there were no groupies. 🙂
I just LOVE Don Williams’ voice!
Happy “8 days until Christmas Day” ❤
Ho Ho Ho getting closer every day! Love the Trans-Siberian Orchestra and look forward to hearing them every year. Thanks for putting this together, and take care dear friend.
Thank you, Nancy! ❤
The magical day IS getting closer. I’m very happy you enjoyed the music!
My favorite, so far. The mockingbird song was beautiful. The Superlatives were of course superlative, and you can’t beat the voices of Don Williams and Elvis.
Thanks, Pat ❤
I thought the Don Williams “song” was beautifully done.
The Aselin Debison song was something Wendy first brought to my attention, and yes, she had something to do with that Superlatives song, too! 😉
Wendy is a rock star, just like her dad!
She’s a bigger star! ❤
Time to thank you Ray for the lovely melodies in this medley. Ted & I are a day late, but I think Christmas cards are done for this year. Hope this week is a good one for you 🙂 Lee & Ted
Thank you, Lee & Ted ❤❤
I’ve had better weeks but I’m still alive so no complaints! I hope your day is awesome!
