Wow! This Is Classic!

It’s the final archived medley, at least for a while, and I saved one of the best for last!

This is one of my favorite medleys from the archives. It goes a long toward proving that female singers had an incredible impact on the soundtrack of our lives!

By the way, if you look at the names of today’s performers, you will see k.d. lang, but if you think that means either Constant Craving or Miss Chatelaine are part of the medley, you’re wrong, so very, very wrong.

I have to go with k.d. lang, although Anne Murray and Joan Osborne were great, too. I just really enjoyed this medley and I am so glad you did!

Needless to say, this might be one of my favorites, and I do remember listening to it previously, but it just took over this morning at my house! Some of these artists are unmatched and have such a presentation that strikes a chord deep within your soul. I loved all of the choices that you made, but I have to agree with you k.d. lang was the best. The powerful voice, partnered with the song itself. Absolutely made me cry. Music just brings out all of the emotions sometimes. There were many others on here that I also loved. Just want you to know this was so special today. Thank you Ray, one more time, you’re the best!🥰

I think I played k.d’s song about 6 or 7 times. It literally does give me chills. I don’t think anyone has ever done it better! I am so pleased you enjoyed the medley!

The Nancy Sinatra and Bobby Gentry selections are not faves, but they keep popping up, so obviously I’m in the minority
Good medley totally resurrected by the ender

Mary Helen, if I never had to hear Ms. Gentry’s song again, I’d be okay with that. The same could be said about Nancy’s song, (although I do enjoy the Wrecking Crew backing sound) … so yeah, they aren’t on any list of songs I relish hearing, but that is not the point. A lot of other people DO enjoy them, and that is why I do what I do.
