Double Dose Of Boo!

Boo! There, got that out of the way. Yep, it’s Halloween and I had a genuine problem with today’s medley, but I think I have resolved it. Listeners, by a fairly significant margin, have asked that medleys become a little shorter. That’s fine, but I had already planned to play a Halloween medley lasting nearly 49 minutes.

As I said, I think I have resolved the problem. I have posted TWO Halloween medleys. The first is an edited version lasting just under 32 minutes. The second is the full version lasting almost 49 minutes. The only difference is I removed songs by Dickey Lee, AC/DC, Blue Oyster Cult, and Bloodrock – songs considered a little on the “creepy” side, and the Bloodrock song is beyond a “little” creepy – from Version 1.

Whichever one you listen to – if you listen at all – I hope your day is absolutely Spooktacular! πŸŽƒ

Happy Halloween Ray πŸ™‚ Ted & I listened to the full version. While listening I ran across a post that I think describes your medleys so I will quote it. THE BEST TIME MACHINE IS A SONG. As always, thank you πŸ™‚ Lee & Ted

You get major points with me for including D.O.A. In this lineup!! I haven’t heard that song probably since the early 70s and it took me right back there. I loved that song even though it’s one of the most morbid songs I have ever heard!

Thank you, Jackie! πŸŽƒ I’m not sure “morbid” covers it, but there’s no wat I could do a Halloween medley without it!

I have been officially booed and scared! Not only did I listen to the first one, but then got a little brave and thought oh, what the heck it can’t be that much worse so I tuned into the second one! I am officially a glutton for punishment! No kidding this was the greatest. I loved hearing some of the songs that I haven’t heard for 30 years seems like. You did a great job putting this together. So appreciative! I’m trying to figure out how I can pipe this to the outside tonight! You’re the best

Another brave soul! Piping that outside would be very cool. Never get any kids at the end of a dead-end street with no street lights here, but if people did come down, I’d be blasting it through the windows!

Ok it’s not my favorite day, but an appropriate long medley…I only recognized about half… didn’t really know the middle
    I’m now more informed
Went to same college at same time with Blue Oyster Cult and hadn’t heard that one in ages
    Hope you doing well

I know how you feel about this day so I’m proud of you for giving it a try.
My late brother, John, was totally into Blue Oyster Cult. They were his favorite band of all time. Me, not so much.
We were seven years apart so our musical tastes were worlds apart.
I am doing okay, thank you, and I hope all is well with you, young lady!

I’m glad you both enjoyed it. Now, let me fill you in on a little secret. Tomorrow I am running an archived medley of 1964 hits. I’m not doing any talking on it, but there is a certain song by the Animals that I’m pretty sure Killian is going to enjoy! πŸ˜‰
