I couldn’t stop. I still had a few requests so I asked myself (I talk to myself a lot), “why not do a Part 3?” And then I answered myself. “Sure, why not!”
I learned quite a bit from this three day project. For starters, some artists I thought would garner a few requests got none! No Four Seasons, No Roy Orbison, No Doors, No Donovan, No Moody Blues, No Supremes, No Temptations. In fact, No Motown at all!
Elvis, the Beatles, Beach Boys, Kinks, CCR, and Rolling Stones all received just ONE request. It’s all very interesting to me and there is absolutely nothing wrong with any of it. Sure, it may have had something to do with limiting your requests to just one song. That was a big mistake on my part! The songs you requested were YOUR memories and that’s what this site is all about! I sincerely appreciate all of you who took the time to get involved!
So Here’s The Question: Does anyone want to do this again? I am just fine with “programming” the medleys, but if you want to hear your favorite songs (and why wouldn’t you), I’m more than happy to play your requests, but this time, fire away with FIVE songs! Come on, don’t be shy! I can’t play your favorite songs if you don’t tell me what they are! ❤
