If listening to songs that bring back memories is something you enjoy doing, this is a medley for you! By the way, the photo at the bottom has nothing to do with the music. I happen to embrace the message it sends so I decided to use it. ☮️
Anyway, back to the music. It is almost entirely from the Sixties and every one of the songs was a hit! Hearkening back to a topic I mentioned a few weeks ago, the fact that you will (or should) remember them means you are not dead!
As always, feel free to sing along … Loudly!

Playing Your Memories
Dave Clark Five – Easybeats
James Darren – Barbarians
Johnny Cash – Box Tops
Mama Cass – Johnny Rivers
Tee Set – Beatles
Elvis Presley – Ronettes
Joe South – Rolling Stones
What a wonderful beginning with the Dave Clark five! That song is so jumping! Oh yeah, I am right up out of the chair going to the kitchen to empty the dishwasher. Got to see if I can do it before the song ends. I loved this I thought every song on it was a great memory from back when, including Mama Cass, Johnny rivers, and the Beatles. This was jampacked full of some of my favorite artists from back then. I’m going to reserve this to listen to again. It is so discouraging to think that FB again banned you from posting. Absolutely the craziest thing I think I’ve ever heard. But that’s OK. We email receivers are still happy to be able to get in and we all know how to get in by just typing in the website from a browser. So, I’m glad all over!! Until tomorrow, Ray, “you’re still the best!” 🥰
Thank you, Sandy. If it wasn’t for great listeners like you, my most recent hassle with Facebook would convince me to just quit. But you give me motivation to keep on trying. Thank you, kid, you’re the best! 🥰
A smile is back on my face…doing my exercises with my resistant bands listening to some old songs that brings back some great memories1 Thanks Ray – greatly appreciated! Have a great day young man!!
Thank you, Bruce. If nothing else, your “young man” reference made me smile. At 74, I don’t get called that much. Thank you! 🙂
Jojo rocked her feet off to almost every one of these and mommy loved the slow ones. She made me play them twice, so thanks for making us both happy. Have a wonderful day friend <3
Thank you, Nancy. Your comment put a HUGE smile on my face. Thank you! ❤
As always a great way to start the day!
Hope FB did not ban you because of the image, the symbol of our generation
Thank you, Mary Helen. All I was told was that “it appears you are trying to gain likes and comments. This violates our community standards. Further removals could result in a permanent ban.”
If they made that statement based on that image, that is laughable. But you may be right so I’m going to put a new image on the article and repost it. We’ll see what happens. They can ban me permanently, I don’t care. Starting next week, I will be going all email notifications with nothing on Facebook. The vast majority of listeners come from people who get notified through their email inbox.
Good Afternoon Ray, Ted had things to do early this morning so I waited ’til he got home so we could listen & enjoy the music together. No complaints here. Thursday’s medley was as special as every other one. Thank you & enjoy your afternoon/evening. 🙂 Lee & Ted
Thank you, Lee & Ted. As always, I’m glad you enjoyed it. If you’re happy, I’m happy 🙂 🙂
Terrific tunes, Ray!
I have so much fun listening to them. I share them with Killian in the mornings and even a 9 year-old enjoys them.
Killian and I thank you.
Thank you, Jim and Killian! It’s always nice to pass these treasures on to younger listeners, and I appreciate that you do!
A wonderful collection today! THANK YOU! I can’t believe music is against community standards I posted a picture of the American flag with a bald eagle and the mention of God, That was blocked out by FB but if you weren’t too scared you could actually click on it and see it. Thank you as always…..Please don’t quit because of this….Only when you chose to. XOXO
Thank you, Mrs. Gowing. 🙂
I can assure you I have no intention of quitting, but I am so grateful for your kind words and support.
XOXO
