50s Flashback!

I needed a day off I made the mistake of sitting on my deck far too long yesterday so I started looking through archived medleys and settled on this for today: The Fabulous Fifties!

I hope this blast from the past makes you realize just how good the music was in those long ago days!

During this archived medley, you’ll hear me say tomorrow will feature an archived Sixties Revolution. While that may have been true when this medley originally ran, it’s not true this week. I will be back with something new on Thursday!

The 50’s were so defined and so fine too. I love listening to these old songs, it really takes you back. Some I was like a preteen, but I developed a love for music long before that. Just hearing Freddy Cannon and Jackie Wilson both awesome! But the big bopper, and Ritchie Valens, and Buddy Holly are absolutely some of my favorites from back then. Seems to me they were headliners together in shows. And we’re all three of them killed in a plane crash? Or just two of them? Any rate loved their music. Thank you for this. The best as always. πŸ₯°

Thanks, Sandy. The three died in an Iowa plane crash in 1959. I’m glad you enjoyed the replay! I’m sitting here working on tomorrow’s medley right now!

Oh Boy, these were great. Such a time of innocence, with no worries, wondering and dreaming of what our first love would be. Just love this period of music.

Thank you, Mary Helen. In between writing history lessons and creating medleys, there are some days I don’t have a minute to myself. Thank you for understanding.

Thank you for understanding, Nancy. I am much better than I was three months ago, but there are still days when I need to decompress and walk away. ❀

Another great medley! Even though it was before my time, I know most all of the songs and sang along to a few … LOL
