Back To Work Medley!

Today’s medley is about as far from yesterday’s as it could possibly be. While the Labor Day medley was quiet and calming, today’s is, um, a little noisier. It’s all part of getting you up and moving!

To be fair, there is a two song “slow down” about a third of the way in, but overall, this is “get your pulse moving” music.

Because, like it or not, Summer Is Over!

Way to go! Great start to the day!
“School Days” to start it out and “ I’ve Got the Music” to end with.
You certainly do have the music.
This was all fun to listen to!

So, let’s rock the corn, right into the stock! Hail, hail rock ‘n’ roll. Wow what a great way to start off this medley. Made me get right up out of my chair immediately. These were some really good selections, and I loved hearing ivory, Joe Hunter haven’t heard that song for a while. Really great what can I say add me dancing around the room. And I think anytime that we hear a song that we know the words to, and we join in as if we were part of that group, that is a blast from the past! Thank you so much, Ray, “you’re the best!”🥰

Thank you, Sandy! Yes, anytime we can hear music and knw the lyrics without looking at a cheat sheet, we’re listening to our soundtrack! I love picturing you bouncing around the room as you listen to these fabulous songs! I think you may have it wrong. YOU are the best! 🥰

Thanks for putting the music in us
You really got me with this medley
Lots of tunes…early rock selections had shorter play times so you could pack more into your medley?

Thanks, Mary Helen! Yep, the early songs rarely were longer than 2 1/2 minutes so I can pack mere music in! Very happy you enjoyed it!

Good day Ray, School has started but autumn doesn’t actually start ’til the 22nd. Called my brother Ernie yesterday to wish him a happy day after his birthday & he told me Fall was here but… Ted & I are leaving Sunday for another trip to ME which should be our last trip this Summer. This past Fri. we attended an outdoor Sunset Serenade by the VT Symphony String Quartet which included several by the Beatles & Sat. we saw Eaglemania, an Eagles tribute band of 7. When we add the last coupla’ days of your medleys I think we have a lot to be thankful for. Thank YOU for all you do for our musical enjoyment. 🙂 Lee & Ted

Two medleys in one day, I am a very happy camper! So glad you have the music in you and have shared it with us. I’m starting to feel a little less stressed and more hopeful for the future, although sad at the same time. We had to move sister to an assisted living place last week. A very hard decision but had to be done. Anyhow, thanks for the music, it always helps .

Pat, I’m glad the music helps but I’m so sorry that decision became necessary. However, having made it, I hope the stress level simmers down.
