Oh boy, sending me right back on the street corner. It’s a shame that so many of these songs/proformances are all but forgotten. They bring back so many memories of not only the corner but the many record hops that figured so prominently in my youth. It makes me sad that today’s youth will never know the simple fun and joy of making your own music. The machine age has taken over and steamrolled the simple yet so fulfilling life we had. Thanks Ray for keeping the flame burning.

Ray I am sitting here snapping my thumb and my finger to the beat!! This music has its own soul!! Where else are you going to find a girl named in short ding dong!! And then throw in the harmony and the bass always gets me!! Like Country the songs all have a great story! And close your eyes and remember how they danced to doo-wop!! And we do have a Blue Moon!!
