Backstories Galore!

There were some significant events in the world of music that took place on March 5, and that’s what we are exploring today.

There is one birthday, six deaths, the recording of two hit songs, and the release of one classic song that caused a key member of the group to leave. We also have a #1 song on this date somewhere in the 60s and we have an unlikely milestone for a band that really wasn’t a band!

It all starts with a song that has nothing to do with March 5 but I like it, so I’m playing it. 🙂

Interesting back stories, great mix of music. Another great artist lost to drugs, so sad.

      Thank you, Pat.
John Belushi’s death was a senseless waste of such talent.
