I have once again dug deep into the archives and come up with one of the all-time listener favorites.

The focus is Country music and there was a very good reason for that. Pat Conant had sent me a list of her 10 favorite country songs, and since Pat happens to be one of my favorite people on the planet, I put this together for her after adding a few more songs I thought (hoped) she would like.

And She Did 🙂

    Man that is a lot of emotion in this set. Classic tunes performed by legends. I haven’t heard most of these songs in a long, long time. One observation, anything with a steel guitar just melts my heart. Always has. I remember growing up it seemed like the Hawaiian Steel Guitar was all the rage. I just fell in love with the sound. Still feel that way. One more observation, George Strait is the MAN. Anything he does is just perfection. He is the Master.

    I did not miss yesterday it was great!! I had today’s response all written up but some how I lost it!! In short Pat has great taste!! I will say this country music has far as I am concerned are the best musicians!! The slide guitar the deep voices!! Look at Willy still pickin like a kid!! And I must say I do believe in love!! Country puts my head in a beautiful place!!
