Valentine’s Day!

I have run this medley for nine consecutive years. It makes very little sense to ruin a good thing so let’s do it again for the tenth time!

This is no ordinary medley but then again this is no ordinary day. This Valentine’s Day Medley, which is just short of two hours long, is filled with nothing but love songs from a variety of musical genres; pop, rock, country, R&B, and crooners.

There are love songs for the young and love songs for those who are older. And there are love songs for people like Fred and Nancy Guilmette, who are celebrating their 35th anniversary today! ❤❤

One song in particular – the final one – reminds us that love lives long beyond the grave.

I hope you enjoy listening as much as I enjoyed putting it together. It was, I assure you, a labor of L-O-V-E.

    Nancy and I thank you so much for the Anniversary songs!! Ray was that joolls Holland singing Valentines Moon? I forgot that song and what a great way to start this beautiful day with!! I think one of the secrets is in one song and it says have I told you how much I love you!! I always say to Nancy everyday how pretty she is!! We are thanking God for another day and another thing that helps is having good friends we have been over 60 years and how many people can say that!! And this group has given me hope and prayers when I need them!! This day should remind us all that love will get us through anything!! I don’t think you should ever change this Ray let’s keep it going!! I just want to say I love this group and I am asking God to watch over us and Bless us all!! Happy Valentine’s Day

      As I said to Rose the other day, this was the musical version of passing out Valentines in grade school, and in our case, East School. ❤️

    While I love this Medley and have loved listening to it every year that you have been playing it. I”m sure you’ll understand that for the last two years, its brought tears to my eyes due to losing Amy on 2/12/22, but that last song is beautiful. Thank you,

    Happy the day after 🙂 Ted & I just listened to yesterday’s medley. Not that we need to but spent yesterday together having breakfast with a younger friend & visiting 2 other friends (with chocolates) at a nursing home. One may be going home but one won’t. All 3 had lost their husbands within the last few years. It was a good day as I hope yours was. Thank you for being such a caring friend.
