Your Requests, Part Three!

I have nothing to say, other than to commend those who submitted their favorite artist requests. Great job, everyone! πŸ™‚

Whoops, almost forgot! I did manage to slip a #1 song on this date into the mix, along with an historic event (an understatement if ever there was one) that happened 55 years ago today!.

      Thanks, Fred!

  4. Jim

    All terrific songs!
I remember singing and dancing to “Pretty Woman” as a youngster. Didn’t know back then who Roy Orbison was. Ha Ha
Led Zeppelin’s “Stairway to Heaven” was a favorite of mine.
It was a sad day in 1969 when we all watched or listened to the Rooftop concert…but they all went on to provide us with a lot more very good music.
    Thank you, again, Ray!

      Thank you, Jim!
I don’t know many people who didn’t like ‘Pretty Woman’ or ‘Stairway’
As for the Beatles, I was almost 14 when they arrived in America, and closing in on 19 they day they played on that roof. It was a wonderful five years!

This was wonderful, Ray, loved them all! I had forgotten the Shirelles-love that song. Been a sad couple days for me. A good friend who was my daughter-in-law’s dad, passed away yesterday. Music is great therapy for me and I am trying to focus on the wonderful memories today. Thank you Ray for all you do.

Pat, I am so sorry for your loss. I do hope the music helps in some small way.
      Cherish the memories. ❀️

Happy Wednesday Ray, Before Ted & I start today’s medley we’re playing catch up again. I was home working on financials but Ted was busy being Dad’s taxi so I decided to wait & listen together. Didn’t happen yesterday (Pop Quiz: What song do you hear in your mind when you read “yesterday” or is it just me?). Great medley, we really did have the best music. Thanks Ray πŸ™‚

      Good morning, Lee & Ted!
Better late than never. I am very glad you enjoyed it.

This medley had some of the best music of our youth. The ooops was one my favorite songs of all time.
Thanks for playing our requests and everyone else’s favorites too.
Didn’t comment yesterday, quiet day of reflection and memories of our friend Phil.

    1. Ray (Post author)

Thanks for listening, Marty, and thank Karen and you for your requests! I’m glad the oops didn’t disappoint you.
Very sad news about Phil. He was an extremely wonderful man.
