We’ve got something for everyone today, including a couple of songs for our favorite bird!
It’s primarily a mix of 60s (with an emphasis on 1965) and 70s, plus one song from 1958 that serves a reminder that tomorrow is an All 50s blast!
Sit back and listen to the memories! 🙂

Good Morning Ray, Thanks for delivering today’s melodious medley of music & a good day to all. 🙂 Lee & Ted
Thank you, Lee & Ted 🥰🥰
I always aim for melodious! 🙂
Sometimes it’s hard for me to pick out my favorites from these…
Carpenters – “Mr. Postman”
Rolling Stones – “Ruby Tuesday”
Beach Boys – California Girl”
&
Roger Miller – “King of the Road” – I lived in Bangor, Maine for 4 years after graduating from UVM in 1975. Started work in the woods for St. Regis Paper Company.
Thanks for the mix!
Thanks, Jim 🥰
“King of the Road” always reminds me of my dad. He used to tell me stories about traveling around the country by hopping trains when he was a teenager in the late 1920s. He laughed and said he was the original King of the Road!
Great memory, Ray.
Thank you, Jim. 🙂
Good one…some I haven’t heard in ages
Thank you, Mary Helen 🥰
I like it when people notice I have added “new” oldies. 🙂
Good afternoon. I had to play it 3 times…Jojo says, thanks. She danced up a storm. 🙂
Thanks, Nancy. Jojo is more than welcome! 🥰
Loved all of these today and looking forward to the 50s tomorrow.
Thank you, Pat 🥰
Lovin’ these mixes and the “new oldies” in them. I don’t ever remember hearing the song the by the Guess Who. Does anyone remember seeing them at the Duck Inn? I know people will say that never happened but it did later in their career. They were headed to the southeast US from Manitoba for a winter tour and booked a weeknight at the Starliite Room. We had a table right in front of them. From 9pm to nearly midnight they took requests and played like crazy.
Your medleys bring back so many memories from days gone by but for a period of time we are young again.
Thank you my friend!
Thanks, Marty! That Guess Who memory is a great one!
As always, I appreciate your kind words. Sometimes, it gets a little frustrating having to limit myself to 30-35 minutes, but I guess that’s what people want.
Have a wonderful day!
