12 Days of Christmas, Day 11

I was putting this medley together when it dawned on me that very few people are going to be listening on Christmas Eve. I don’t even know how many people are going to listen to this one!

I have come up with something a little different for tomorrow because Day 12 falls on Christmas Eve and that day deserves something special.

But enough of that for now. Today’s medley is, I hope, filled with music that brings home the real spirit of Christmas for each and every one of you!

Awesome Christmas medley and memories. The silky smooth voice of Nat is unmistakable. What a treat to hear the Chris Young-Alan Jackson duet. I had never heard that song! They are both great artists, but Chris is one of my favorites for sure. He sang demos as a 16 year old kid for a producer friend of mine in Nashville, but struggled with harmonies and couldn’t continue. It’s amazing what he has been able to achieve since! Merry Christmas to you and your family, Ray and thanks for the musical joy you deliver.

      Thank you, Pat!
Chris Young is one of my favorites, but he has a way to go before he overtakes Alan Jackson and Toby Keith. 🙂
I do love the Young/Jackson duet and I thought belonged in the final day of Christmas medleys.
Merry Christmas to you and yours!

On this Christmas Eve, Eve you have carefully chosen these beautiful songs and memories to remind us all of the true meaning of Christmas. Wow … quite the evolution! First as excited young children, then teens with “expensive” tastes, then for some of us as parents who try to recreate those special Christmas traditions we experienced as young children …. and now, here we are …. grandparents who count our blessings for each new day, to have loving family and friends (near and far) to give from our hearts and to love endlessly. What does this have to do with the music, you ask? … Everything!!! Merry Christmas Eve, Eve. Wishing you PEACE and LOVE

Rose, thank you from the bottom of my heart for that eloquent commentary. It is so, so beautiful … and so are you! Merry Christmas Eve, Eve. ❤️

Oh, WOW, Ray. This selection of Christmas medleys and memories has to be one of my most favorite. Every one brought back a special memory of years long ago. I really enjoyed Chris Young and Alan Jackson’s “There’s A New Kid In Town”. And, when Johnny Mathis sings Ave Maria” I am a blithering idiot. Thank you for these wonderful memories. This edition really hit home.

      Thank you, Vicki 🥰
I wanted this one to be very special so I am very pleased that you enjoyed it. I could not think of a better ending than Johnny’s version of ‘Ave Maria’. It is the kind of singing that makes the hair on the back of my neck stand up!

You have been making each medley better than the last leading up to Christmas Eve.
    You have touched my soul
If tomorrow’s medley tops today, it will be a Christmas miracle

      Thank you, Mary Helen.
I won’t be able to top today’s medley because the “medley” tomorrow is no medley at all. 🥰
