And so it begins! The 12 Days of Christmas Medleys start today and will run through Christmas Eve. Yes, that means I’ll be delivering medleys on weekends, too!
Today’s medley begins with something I recorded 18 years ago while working at WCFR in Springfield, VT. I’ll grant you it never reached the sales level to qualify for a gold record but it has always been well received here, and for me, that means a lot more!
While today’s medley is more on the “traditional” side, there’s no need to worry if you think the “novelty” songs are over. Not by a long shot!

I just love your recording of the Magical Santa! It answers a serious question that I had as a young boy. At first, I thought those kids that got very little were bad…not the best thought to have had. Keep the Christmas medleys coming!
Thank you, Ray.
Thank you for your very gracious comments, Jim. ❤
I remember when you first did your song and I get more out of it each time l hear it!! The words make it magical!! I truly love the message!! Have a wonderful day Ray!! And as always Merry Christmas!! Loved this mix!! Every song had a great message!! I loved Johnny Mathis!!
Love ya
Thank you, Fred.
At this time of the year, the message is the important thing. I’m very glad you enjoyed it.
Love ya
Good day Ray, Been working on Christmas cards this morning while Ted is on duty with Dad & Grandpa’s taxi duty. Needed to give my eyes a break & check on some addresses of people I know have moved & I thought I’d go back & catch up on missed music this past week when I saw this one so decided to start here. Your beginning today brought a few tears which I think were somewhere between happy & sad & eyes needing a break 🙂 I’m going to thank you now. Have a good day & Happy Holidays to all regardless of how you celebrate 🙂
Thank you, Lee. I’m very pleased to know you enjoyed it.
Note to self: Do not send a comment ’til music is finished. You lose the medley but good job getting it back 🙂
A medley of the signs, symbols and true meaning of Christmas as you beautifully expressed in your intro “song”. I was deeply touched.
Thank you, Mary Helen. I’m very glad you enjoyed it.
Your “song” was one of the many fine examples of the wonderful work you did while at WCFR ooohh that many years ago! This WAS pure gold … maybe even more than Mathis 😉
Thank you for the memories ~
Thank you, Rose ❤
I prefer to think of those “many years ago” days as the work WE did. I wasn’t sitting alone in that studio. It was teamwork. 🙂
Thank you for the very kind words about my “song”
Great job Ray. The opening reading was very appropriate. Thanks for getting us in the spirit, despite not much snow around. Merry Christmas to you and yours. Bob H.
Thank you, Bob. There definitely is a lack of snow but I have always thought the spirit of Christmas resides in our hearts and if we’re true believers, it stays there all year long. ❤
Great start to the 12 days of Christmas. Thanks, Ray for all you do to make our days better.
Thank you, Pat. I always appreciate your “positive vibes.” ❤
Couldn’t listen this morning. Something was wrong with my computer and I had no sound. But Jojo and I made up for it this afternoon. Loved your opening and all the songs. Shared with my community and I’m sure they’ll love it too. Thanks.
Thank you, Nancy (and of course, Jojo). ❤
I’m glad you solved the sound problem and I’m very happy you enjoyed the medley. As always, I am truly grateful to you for sharing it with your community. You’re the best!
