A Two-Fer on Tuesday!

It’s a different kind of two-fer today. I started out with the intention of playing just one medley, but after it was finished, I was a little disappointed. True, it is filled with rock and roll factoids, but still, I felt like I had let you down … so I decided to kick out the jams by playing another medley from the archives!

Good Morning Ray, FYI I read your Saturday history lesson & listened to the music. Today Ted & I listened to Monday’s dual medleys & he listened to the 1st before going to the trailer. We have been working on the kitchen floor most recently. Removed tiles & nails!, added filler, waited, added base, waited, tiles wouldn’t stick so had to buy glue. When Ted gets back we’ll know if it worked. We took Sunday off to rest & visited Family. Have to admit it will seem nice to call a relator when the floor is finished. Second medley is almost done so thank you for the music. Hope to think about memories instead of what has to be done soon. Have a good day & thank you for adding smiles to the days 🙂

Thank you, Lee. Sounds like Ted and you have been incredibly busy. I’m glad you’re taking time off on in a while to recharge.
      Have a rockin’ good day!

Enjoyed this medley and all the info
The Singing Nun obviously loved by more than French majors
Ending with Louie Louie was perfect
As you said the second medley rocked
Of course we listen to both which makes our listening time longer, so two medleys seem excessive…you can’t please everyone all the time
    Give yourself some slack

Thanks, Mary Helen. The reason for double medleys is simple. I asked the preferred length for listeners and the overwhelming majority asked for 25-30 minutes. There was, however, a decent amount of listeners who wanted longer medleys, somewhere around 35-45 minutes. To be honest, I prefer the longer ones myself. When I posted the first double medley, I said those who wanted the shorter medleys had their request filled, and so did those who wanted a longer time with the tunes. I had a feeling people might listen to both, but I can do nothing about that. I did say if the double medleys caused people to spend too much time with the music, that “problem” was of their own doing. But I’ll give a single medley a try tomorrow and measure the reaction.

Sometimes you just NEED to crank it up …. like a primal scream!!

Sometimes a primal scream (or really loud music) can turn your day around. More people should try it. In the end, it might make the world a better place.
