F-R-I-D-A-Y!

There are only four words needed today. Even if you’re retired – like I’m supposed to be – these four words still help.

Thank God It’s Friday!

There are 14 songs lined up and it is my hope that this nearly 50-minute medley eases you into the weekend. Enjoy! 🙂

Lots of favorites and some that I haven’t heard since way back! I wouldn’t have thought to even look for them and that is another reason that I appreciate what you do, Ray! Who would have thought that “Kansas City” would have brought back memories for me? Just amazing how important music was in our lives!

Thanks, Jim! Adding songs that have slipped through the cracks is a lot of fun for me. Your comment inspires me to do more of that! 🥰

Ray I must let you know that I am supposed to lay perfectly still on a table for however long my treatment lasts!! So from now on I shall have to listen to you after my sessions!! I don’t think moving to Little Richard on the table counts!! However it did get me moving this AM!! So I will thank you for that!! Now I gotta get that old time A Rock and Roll out of my head!! Oh well maybe I can get the Technicians👨‍🔧 to do a little dance with me first! Off to get zapped and may God Bless! Really enjoyed todays hits!!
    Love ya

Fred, i appears to me that you should skip the medleys until long after your treatment. God knows I don’t want to be responsible for any problems! So from now on, you focus on what you need to do and those tunes will be waiting for you when you’re finished. I love you, my brother, and I am praying so hard for you! 🥰

Thank God it’s Friday! And so it definitely is. Wonderful selections Ray a lot of hits so I haven’t heard for a while some that I never knew her number one hits. I’m not sure where was I at that time but lo and behold. I still need to go back and listen to Yesterdays. I never did get to it. I spent almost the entire day sleeping half an hour on my body is fighting like hell right now. I am determined to show the Big see that I am the boss. Thank you for these tunes. They certainly were a bright spot in my day. I am now going to try to go outside and do a little leaf blowing. Have a wonderful weekend Ray and remember you’re the best! 🥰

What a great medley to end the week … thank God it’s Fryday, and yes, I just listened for the 2nd time today!!
A great variety over the years as well as different genres; rock, r&b, country .. all are great!!! Love “sweet Home Alabama” – I heard somewhere they recorded that in Muscle Shoals, AL – not sure if that is accurate or not!
You have no idea how I look forward to these music medleys .. especially now, helps me keep my sanity .. LOL Seriously, I would be lost without music!!!
Thank you so much for thinking of me .. love me some Bob Segar … and great way to end the medley with “old time rock and roll, that kind of music just soothes the soul”!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
ROCK ON my sweet DJ man and have a fabulous weekend!

      Thank you, Penny! 🥰
I love your enthusiasm! I’m so glad you caught your shout out. 🙂
By the way,’Sweet Home Alabama’ was recorded at Studio One in Doraville, Georgia. Lynyrd Skynyrd didn’t use Muscle Shoals until their 5th album.
Have a super duper weekend, young lady and keep rockin’!
      XOXO
