Well, good Monday morning! This was a very special medley for me, and I enjoyed every song, especially the last three. Someone knows how to make a girl feel so very important! The teddy bears picnic, will be indelible forever, having requested it when I was four years old to a local radio station. i’ve always loved this song, and of course the teddy bears have a special meaning. Won’t you be my teddy bear with Elvis that was also another favorite and then my favorite of all time Tommy James and the Shondells, Crimson and Clover! Wow, I’ll have to play this one again for sure. Thank you Ray so much. I love the shout out and I loved all the backstory this time some that I hadn’t heard before. And you know that, as always, “you’re the best”! 🥰

      Thank you, Sandy! 🥰
I hope the three songs put a smile on your face and boosted your spirits!

To quote the Rascals “Have a good day” because as Sam Cooke said “you send me” with your musical memories medley & ignore CCR’s “don’t look back” advice. The Beatles said “got a good reason for taking the easy way out” but (Ringo, George & friends knew “it don’t come easy”) preparing a medley of memories. Even Patsy Cline knew “you’re crazy” & the Four Tops described your listeners best with “I’ll be there” for the music & the memories. Did I say memories? Here’s mine: When Ted sang Dion’s song he changed one word & sang “asks me which one I love the best. I tear open my shirt I got Rosa-Lee on my chest.” To quote Dickey Lee “just when I thought I was ok” Bing Crosby announces “today’s the day the teddy bears have their picnic” & Elvis Presley sings “let me be your teddy bear.” Well I think everyone will be taking Tommy James advice & be listening “over & over.” Ted & I enjoyed the medley. Hope everyone takes the Rascals advice. Thank you Ray. 🙂
