A Blast from 1966!

This is the way to end a week! A 17-song, 48-minute medley from 1966!

You won’t hear much from me because I am a firm believer in letting the music do the talking. I’ll be around in the beginning and at the end (with a quick word about halfway through) but other than that, this is all about the tunes we were listening to in the fabulous year of ’66!

Good Morning Ray, May the luck of the black cat be with all today πŸ™‚ Today’s memory took Ted & I back to a diner called Blast from the Past that resembled an old 50’s/60’s diner with a jukebox with music everyone in this group would play. On another Friday the 13th we were there & it was busy (’cause the food was good) so we told our waitress that we were willing to share our table if people waiting wanted to join us. We had breakfast with a nice couple from New Jersey. When we went to pay, we were told that they had already paid for our breakfast! Loved your comment before the last song. Have a good day Ray πŸ™‚ Lee & Ted

Friday the 13th of November,1970 I received news that I obtained “early acceptance” to the University of Vermont! Friday the 13th has always been a lucky day for me.

Holy cow, Ray, just when I thought that I had heard all of the greatest songs of 1966, another one plays! I loved this mix! Guess I didn’t realize what an impact, songs from when I was only 13 made on me!

    Thank you!

      Happy Acceptance Anniversary, Jim! πŸ₯°
Old songs, when played at a time when we are older, bring back such vivid memories. It is then that we realize what an impact those songs had.

Oh, who could ask for any more inspiration than all of this wonderful 1966 music to get our bodies moving and Groovin! I can tell you that this girl just danced in her chair like she was ready to takeoff for the ball. I want to thank you Ray so much for the shout out. It means the world to know that people care and people are there with prayer and love and so much giving. I Know that Fred feels the same way I do. I am so grateful and I have so much. I am blessed! Remember, one thing, though, Ray you’re the best! Have a wonderful weekend!
