FriYay Rock and Roll!

It’s a 13-song, nearly 40-minute blast of rock and roll memories, just perfect for a FriYay!

Included are four more requests, and while I don’t want to sound like a broken record (pun intended), please take a moment to think about the oldies (from 1955-1995) you want to hear, and then send them to me. There are three ways to do that: Leave them in the comment section here, send them to ne in a private message on Facebook, or email them to Raylemire@aol.com. Easy Peasy!

Have a wonderful weekend and stay away from political talk. It will drive you out of your mind.

See you in October! 🙂

Good Morning Ray 🙂 Ted & I think that the FriYah medley was just the way to start our day & it was really nice that you played our song from way back when. Enjoyed all the music but had to smile when I heard Manfred Mann begin. Back came the memory of a surprise visit to my friend Angie & her telling me she remembered us walking up the Westview hills & I sang “here she comes just a walking on the guard rails singing do wah ditty…” You never know what others remember that never seemed important at the time. Thanks for letting all your fans remember songs that make us smile Have a good weekend everyone & send your requests to Ray 🙂 Lee & Ted

Oh my gosh, happy Friday. Yay! Another week in the books as they say, and this medley was certainly a good one! They were so many songs on here that I sang along to that I just haven’t heard in a while. I am so thrilled with all of the requests that are coming in for songs that I know. Not that they’re intended for me or anything like that but I just identify. I know I’m rambling on it’s Friday. It’s been a long week for me but I made it through the week, as did we all! I did not know the story of Jackie Wilson, meeting his demise. What a sad thing. He had such a lot of talent, and I guess I just never knew what happened. Thank you Ray for another terrific week, and hope you have a wonderful weekend, doing all the things that you love to do, whatever those may be! And remember, you’re the best! 🥰

Thank you, Sandy! 🥰 You said some very wonderful things with your commentary, but the words that really pleased me were “I made it through the week.” Those words made me smile … big time!

A rocking Friday for a dreary day in Wells, Vt. Finally, up to date again! While listening, been cleaning my bedroom & discovered my high school yearbooks, so many more memories assaulted me today. Thanks for your contribution to a day of recollections, Ray.
