Lazy hazy crazy days of summer! Oh, how this touched a chord with me. Love Nat King Cole, but this song was one of my favorites that he did. Connie Francis, Betty Everett. And Ray Charles! But I think my very favorite was the last song, by mama Cass! You might’ve heard me singing from way down here in NC, shouting out the words with her. I just have missed this so much, and missed all of you guys, but especially Ray! Because, remember, you’re the best! 😘

Don’t apologize for all the HB influence
It’s clear he was a touch point in so many great songs

  The reason I play so many Hal songs is to point out how many bands made such an impression on fans (and made so much money doing it) when they didn’t even play on their own recordings. 🙂
