It’s another day of memorable music, beginning with a classic from 1957 and ending with a song from a singer who left us one year ago today.
Included in this medley are songs by two other singers who passed on this date and a song that had a big day on the radio 38 years ago today. And there are, of course, six other songs that should spark a memory or two … maybe even six!
It’s all here in an effort to help you get through hump day!

PS Found this in my FB memories: Did you know? Listening to 5-10 songs a day can improve memory, strengthen immune system & remove depression
As always thanks for the music & the memories
Thanks, Lee & Ted 🥰🥰
That FB memory is an excellent Rock Factoid!
I agree with Lee & Ted’s comment, these daily medleys really help me with the depression of having lost Amy. Thank you <3
Thank you, Nancy ❤️
I’m sure the music is a poor substitute but I do hope the medleys help, even if just a little. ❤️
I can hear music 🎶🎶
Thanks for lifting me over the hump
Thanks, Mary Helen 🥰
As long as you can hear music, you are in a very good place!
Listened to Tuesday’s and today this afternoon, both great! I love your picks-a lot that I haven’t heard in a long time. It’s true that music is a mood lifter. What a change in the world since “We Are The World” was recorded, and not for the best. I have a couple requests, if you are still taking them: Together(Connie Francis) and for a Friday, George Jones, “It’s Finally Friday”. Thanks
Thank you, Pat! 🥰
The change has definitely not been for the best!
Thank you for the requests. Unfortunately, I already have Thursday’s medley done and I am not posting a medley on Good Friday so I will have to get them next week. 🙂
Hey, there is no rush. Next week is just fine!
I promise they will be there! 🥰
I wish the people who sand USA for Africa and others would come together to sing again for Ukraine and other places in our world suffering terrible atrocities!
Thanks for adding this to your Memories, and igniting our thoughts and feelings.
That is a beautiful comment, Jane! 🥰
