Ever have a difficult time admitting a mistake? I think it’s only human nature to feel that way, but I’m man enough to admit I made a very poor decision when I decided to do a “drum” theme for this week. I should have limited it to one day and then moved on.
I’m also smart enough to know when it’s time to cut your losses so the “week” ends today … kinda, sorta. I have something planned for Thursday and Friday that will continue the drumming theme but will also find me returning to the sole purpose this site exists: Playing hit songs we all remember and cherish.
Before I move on to the music, let me say I enjoy the sound of drums as much as anyone, but this site was never intended to be all about what I like. It was intended to be – and still is – all about what you like, and based on the early returns, it appears you would much rather have the old reliable hits.

Small Faces Trivia very interesting! Didn’t remember that group…but definitely remember the song.

I can guarantee there will be many more flashes from the past tomorrow!
I hope you enjoy this beautiful day! 💙
Drums or no drums, I just enjoy listening to all the great music from our time. Not to fond of most of todays music, so thanks for taking us back to the good old days <3
Thank you, Nancy ❤️
I’m not going anywhere. I’m just getting back to playing the hits from our past. 🙂
Have a wonderful day!
It was my suggestion. Sorry Ray, but you did pick some good ones. I can go to my music app to get my drumming done.
Thank you for doing it.
Jim, it may have been your suggestion, but there was no reason for me to go off the tracks with it. That’s on me, not anyone else.
I remember nettles from George & Grace Race’s. (N. Spld.) Met up with some “itchypoo” before I started school with you. Not the way I intended to start this but here we are listening a day late again Comments & suggestions don’t happen often. I know others in the group have great suggestions. (Mark Rice & Marty Morse memory of them singing) I am having cataract surgery the day after Easter & it’s hard for me to see & write at this time, Lots of appointments in the meantime. Lee loves Vincent’s song. I had never heard it ’til the 1st time you played it. It reminds me of a dream about my Mother. Since this message is a day late I don’t see a lot of people reading it so added the explanation. As always thank you for the music 🙂 🙂 Lee & Ted
Thanks, Lee & Ted 🥰🥰
I always enjoy reading how the music brings back memories for you!
‘Vincent’ is incredibly beautiful.
Cataract surgery was very simple and I will keep you in my prayers when you have yours done.
