I love hearing your voice in these medleys…and not only because of the great “radio voice”, but also because this is part of what makes these medleys so good. It brings a special personality to the medleys as well as demonstrating the hard work and heart that you put into them. Also, adding requests brings your listeners together. Personality & Love.
Great mix today!
Thank you, Jim! I sincerely appreciate the kind words about “the voice.” I have said it many times before, but my voice doesn’t do much for me. But if people enjoy it, I’m happy to do it.
I’m glad you enjoyed today’s medley. I just finished tomorrow’s mix and it is, um, longer than any other I have played this week … 49 minutes!
I am really looking forward to next week’s drum theme!
I’ve been climbing the stairway to heaven with your outstanding selections of guitar greats!
These request medleys while lots of work for you are delighting us
If requests are still open how about selections of the Traveling Wilburys as a group or individual members?
Thank you, Mary Helen ❤️
Your guitar requests have made his week a blast for me. I am so happy you have enjoyed them.
Thanks for another excellent suggestion!
Ray I must admit this is one of my favorite songs from Stevie!! How could you not give ZZ Top a listen! I love the words to this and the guitar is well damn good!! I think we all have some lips we will never forget!! Ray always hits a soft spot for me with this song as George is my favorite!! I got to sit in with a band awhile back and they let me sing this song for Nancy!!’ I still tear up!! Hey Bonnie you got a twofer!! Ok great choices who else gets the # 1 DJ in the country playing songs for you!! I think Rosa-has a little Hanky Panky left in her!! I think it is safe to say she was an uptown girl!! To fall in love was a great choice!! Oh my what great songs!!The Stairway to Heaven has such meaning to me!! This is guitar playing at its finest!! Nothing like a rambling man!! Hey Dylan how the heck are ya?? I trust all is well!! Good choice!! Ray I love you and there is nothing better than having a friendship that has gone through thick and thin!! Good times and the bad times!! For all who has a friend and have not said hello take the time!! FRIENDSHIP is the most important thing in your life!!
Fred, thank you for your stupendous, awesome and adorable commentary!
It should be no secret to anyone how I feel about you. I was telling Dylan recently that I have known you since I was six years old! Now that we’re, um, a little older, I still consider you to be a very dear friend … and yes, I Love You! ❤️
I’m doing well Fred, you’re too kind. Sending much love your way, my man. ❤️
Beautifully said, Dylan ❤️
Another great collection of classic hits from the best Era of music. I can never get enough. I really enjoy the background info you include, Ray! You’re the best. Okay, memories of going off to my freshman year at Plymouth State. My folks had left and I knew no one. I kept my dorm room door open and put on the Letterman. By the time the afternoon was over, I had met a couple of gals to go to dinner with. Have an awesome day, Ray! Love ❤️
Thank you for sharing that memory. Just goes to show you the power of music. ❤️
Another great day. I know the songs I love when I hear them, but I’m brain dead to remember the names, so I’ll just enjoy everything you play like I have since I joined.
No problem, Nancy. 🙂 I’m very glad you enjoy the music! ❤️
