I’m taking a break from Doo-Wop Wednesday and concentrating on requested songs and music relating to events that happened on this date in history.
Speaking of requests, feel free to jot down songs you want to hear in the comment section below.
There’s a lot to get to so this is a good time to suggest you stop reading and begin listening! )

Wonderful requests! I’ll have several of them in the mix for Friday and the others will be played next Monday!
Another good medley, Ray!
Along with the guitar theme, how about a drum theme? I loved many songs that had great drumming in them. Here are 3 from vinyl albums that I still play:
Black Sabbath’s 1970 Paranoid Album – Bill Ward – “Rat Salad”
Led Zeppelin’s 1971 Led Zeppelin IV Album – John Bonham – “Rock And Roll”
& Who’s 1971 Who’s Next Album – Keith Moon – “Won’t Get Fooled Again”
A drum theme is an excellent idea! I’ll get started on that for next week!
Loved them all. The members and you have great taste in music. Thanks xx
Thanks, Nancy! ❤
I would be thrilled to play any requests you have so don’t be shy!
Loving these requests
You sure have the music in you!
Thanks for honoring the guitar requests daily…I’m living the dream!
Know putting these together is extra work, but I’m grateful that you share your passion with us so we have the music in us too 💙
Thanks, Mary Helen 🥰
This has not been extra work on my part. I’m loving it and your role in all of it has been wonderful!
We should all have the music in us! ❤
Another great mix today. I need to say, I feel sorry for anyone who doesn’t have the music in them! I “Remember When”, and I think the song fits any of us who have been together for 50+ years! We have always tried to make the good times surpass the bad.
Thanks, Pat ❤️
“Remember When” is such a beautiful song, sung by an incredible artist. Making sure the “good times surpass the bad” is a brilliant philosophy!
what a great medley .. can never go wrong with Don Williams, love Alan Jackson and who could forget Glen Campbell .. my eyes adored you – love it!! All shook up with Elvis. Can never go wrong for the Green Beret then finish up with Kiki Dee 🙂
Now am off to bed.
You rock as always my friend
Thank you, Penny ❤️
So, so glad you enjoyed the music!
Sleep well, young lady!
