The break is over and it’s another day filled with songs recorded on this date, songs released on this date, a #1 song on this date, artists inducted in the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame on this date, a rock and roll birthday, and a couple of songs which are included just because I felt like it. Dirty Dancing fans will understand one of them. 😉
It all adds up to 35 minutes of music memories, and will hopefully get your week started on a good note … pun intended. 🙂

Thanks, Lee and Ted 🥰🥰
I’s good to be back and I am so glad you enjoyed the music!
I’m a fan ….. I understand 🙂
I knew you would 😉
Welcome back! I listened to some of the older medleys over the past week. It’s so great that they can make me feel old in a good way, yet also make me feel so young and alive!
I also took some history lessons from you. If I had listened in history classes when I was young, I would have done better in Trivial Pursuit. Now, thanks to you I think I could hold my own now.
Thanks, Jim! Your old/young description is EXACTLY what I strive for!
If I had my life to live over, I would definitely have become a history teacher. History is my true love and I thoroughly enjoyed putting those lessons together! 🥰
Welcome back I didn’t realize I’d have to count flowers on the wall!! Busy day but a nice way to get my day going!! I trust you had some quality time off???!! 2006 was a good year for a little Rock&Roll Hall of Fame!! As always love ya!!
Thanks, Fred! I did enjoy the break but I spent too much of it researching music! 2006 was a very good year for the Rock & Roll Hall! I hope all is well with you and your lovely bride. ❤
Love Ya!
Awesome! Couldn’t listen to these while on the cruise as the Wifi was horrible. Then got home to Covid. Glad to be all better and listening again. Jojo missed our morning Medleys too. <3 <3
Welcome back!I’m so glad you got over the damn Covid! I hope the cruise was enjoyable for you, and I am certainly pleased to know Jojo is back o dancing up a storm! ❤❤
Great to have you back!
Always want to get to you
Didn’t recognize the Lennon piece, but thanks for always bringing new tunes to my attention
Thanks, Mary Helen 🥰
It’s great to be back and see your lovely comments again!
Lennon’s song addressed those who were confounded by his “househusband” years of 1975–1980, during which he retired from the music industry to concentrate on raising his son Sean. On the surface, it was a literal ode to watching the wheels of automobiles turn around and around, as he watched from his apartment window in the Dakota building.
But it was also a letter to the world about how Lennon was ok just simply existing. “I hadn’t stopped from ’62 to ’73 – on demand, on schedule, continuously. And walking away was hard. What it seemed like to me was, This must be what guys go through at sixty-five when suddenly they’re not supposed to exist any more and they are sent out of the office. I thought, Well, oughtn’t I? Shouldn’t I? Shouldn’t I be, like, going to the office or something?“
Welcome back, Ray. Today’s medley is one of my favorites. Jim got it exactly right old, but still young and alive!
Thanks, Pat 🥰
It always makes my day when you really enjoy the music!
Stay safe in the snowy weather!

I’m pleased to know you enjoyed the music. 🙂 I thought coming back ad starting with ‘Morning Has Broken’ was a nice way to start! Yeah, some nasty weather is here tonight and tomorrow but I’m not going anywhere. It’s all part of life’s rich pageant! 😉
