Monday Music Memories

How about a healthy dose of music memories to wash away the Monday blues?

I have put together a collection of nine pop/rock songs with a couple of country music hits thrown in for good measure, and all of it is here to put a smile on your face.

Let all the troubles in the world float away for 32 minutes. We’re traveling in a time capsule back to the 60s, 70s and 80s!

Well, Ray, it’s Monday morning, and I am no Runaway!! This was a great way to come back after all these days and days of no music. I was so thrilled to hear Del Shannon, the Beatles, Billy Joel, even don’t let your babies grow up to be Cowboys! Oh my gosh there’s so many songs on here I just might have to listen to this the second time. I have missed this so much, and though things are about the same I just realized that I do need to listen to this every single day. It is so good for me! My music era.! Thank you so much for this wonderful start to the week. Oh, and one more thing, remember, you’re the best! 🥰

      Thanks, Fred! 🥰
Whenever I’m in need of a smile, all I have to do is read your comments. Because as Toby Keith sang, you’re “just the guy to do it.”
      Love Ya!

Singing in the sunshine today between snow events
An observation that date medleys result in great diversity of styles and artists
    Loved it

      Thanks, Mary Helen 🥰
Let the music blow that snow away!
I’m glad the date medleys, when I choose to do them, doesn’t bother you. 🙂

I knew when I saw Del Shannon and Gale Garnett, that I would love this medley. Great start for a Monday, after a not-so-great weekend. Thanks, Ray.

      Thanks, Pat 🥰
Looking back on the weekend, I’m sure the results weren’t what you hoped for but just consider all the great memories from the past you can cherish!

I said the same thing to Matt, to remember all the things he accomplished over 13(yes 13!) years of wrestling. The sad part that is hard to get past is that he was the victim of a very bad call, and it just devastated him, and he lost his next match also. He pulled himself together and won his final match-just so hard to watch because of course it was his final match forever. It’s amazing what a great sport wrestling has been for both of my grandsons. Sportsmanship, self-confidence and realization of what is important in their lives and that it takes hard work. Ok, now we will all move on,LOL.
