Throwback Thursday (Again)

Throwback Thursday is here again and we’ve got something for everyone!

We start out with a nod to Groundhog Day and end with an absolute classic. In between, there’s songs connected to this date in rock and roll history, including a pair of songs by a rock icon on his birthday, a Grammy winning song recorded on this date, a pair of songs by country music legends, and a lot more!

It’s an 11-song, 34-minute journey into the past; a place where the soundtrack of your life lives.

Memories … That’s What We’re All About

If this medley gets in the replay loop b/c of Ground Hog Day that’s fine with me

Ray thank you for another good workout!! I so enjoy these tunes when I am walking!! You know Ray I can close my eyes when I am listening and your voice has not changed one bit(maybe better)!! I have lost some of my voice over the years!! I am still going to get together and we hope to see if we are good enough to b a show!! May your day be blessed and always remember you are doing us all a great favor by bringing back such memories!!

      Thanks, Fred! 🥰
Back when I was broadcasting high school and college games, a local sports writer described my voice as the “husky voiced Ray Lemire.” I have always been proud of that compliment.
I hope you can get that group going. I would love to hear the results!
      Keep walking!
      Love Ya!

My comments are getting redundant, but these were great again today. Love the country songs amongst the rock and roll!

You’re not being redundant. Maybe it means I’m being consistent! 😉

lol, I started yesterday/Thursday’s medley & catching up with yesterday posts. Was just reading a comment from my sister in law Penny saying that Ted & I should visit her & my brother Bill when the Marvelettes started singing. How did you know? If your ears rang yesterday was visiting Ernie & reminiscing; all conversation was good. Back to scrolling. Ted & I enjoyed yesterda’s medley today. Thanks Ray 🙂 🙂 Lee & Ted
