It’s Tunesday Again!

It’s Tunesday again and we’re covering a wide range of musical genres.

We start with a pair of songs that reached #9 on the Billboard Hot 100 before playing two songs from artists celebrating birthdays, the #1 song on this date in 1965, a pair of Doo-Wop songs, a ballad from a Beatles movie, and close with a scorcher from Tom Petty & The Heartbreakers!

And in between all of that, there’s a phone call from Dylan Place (with a song dedicated to him)! πŸ™‚

Ray, you are bad (& I mean that in a good way). I burst out laughing when your dedication to Dylan started. Now Dylan, it’s up to you but might I suggest “touch” football this coming Thanksgiving instead of tackle. Glad everything’s going well. Ted & I have enjoyed Tunesday’s medley πŸ™‚ πŸ™‚

I’ve got a good idea, Dylan. Maybe you could play football all by yourself! πŸ˜‰

Loved the opener with the Supremes! I was thrilled to hear Dylan’s voice, he sounds so strong and so ready to face the future. That is one fast, healing, young man! With the ambition to get out there and play football, wow! You go, Dylan! Of course, Neil Diamond is always one of my faves, and seeing him in concert years ago was such a thrill. I always loved his music. Petula Clark gosh haven’t heard her for a while, and always love the Beatles no matter what they sing! Ending up with Tom Petty and the Heartbreakers was great! And, of course, all made possible by the careful selection, and listening to that silken voice, made it so much better! So, remember, Ray, you’re the best! πŸ₯°

Dylan’s progress is very encouraging! He is so determined to get back to work and is really doing well with his physical therapy. As for the music, I am always happy when I know you enjoyed it!

Ray just got to this!! So glad to Hear from Dylan!! And your song choice got a smile out of me!! And to think I almost missed a couple of doo-wops!! Your timing is always perfect!! There are three of us who where in bands are hoping to get together and try a few doo-wops!! If we can get a decent recording will send it along!! But to get back to Dylan so glad he is doing so well!! Peace love right back at ya!!

Thank you, Fred! Dylan is doing so well … much better than he anticipated. He is diligently doing his PT. It’s not easy but he knows it is necessary.
If you guys get that recording done, I would love to hear it!
      Love Ya!
