Fri-Yay Dance Party!

I had a tough decision to make when I sat down to put this medley together. I could include five legendary (understatement) artists who were inducted into the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame on this date in 1988 OR I could play upbeat music from the 50s, 60s and 70s.

Playing music by the Beatles, Beach Boys, Supremes, Drifters, and Bob Dylan to commemorate their induction would have been easy to do, but I already play a lot of songs by all of them so I opted to go with what my heart said …
Compile a TGIF Dance Party!

It’s not as if I won’t be playing the aforementioned artists (a lot) down the road. So put on your dancing shoes (or slide into that dancing chair) and rock out!

Ray ,, another great medley! I had the toe tapping going on. I have listened to all the medleys this week .. unfortunately I havent’ commented on them .. has been a very long week, struggling with trying to keep up with work, crap on the personal front, blah, blah. But these medleys helped get me through the days (and of course hearing your wonderful voice 🙂 ) Looking forward to what you have for us this week!

      Thanks, Penny 🥰
If the music helps to get you through the long days, I couldn’t be any happier!

Happy Friyay a few days later! The good part is that I at least get to listen at my leisure, and totally enjoy this one. It was great. What can I say? It is like an every day, expectation with you, and all of the thought, and care that goes into putting these medleys together. Freddy Cannon, and Sam Cooke were my favorites. Of course, in a category, all by himself is little Richard! Remember, seeing him making a debut with that song. So fun to go back gosh! I trust that you had a good weekend, and I’m checking up on Dylan. Let me know how things are going. Thank you for this Ray, you’re the best! 🥰

      Thank you, Sandy 🥰
Better late than never! I’m so happy you enjoyed it. I really LOVE the Freddy Cannon song1
As for Dylan, he’s doing very well. Wendy has been with him but she left today and just this minute landed in Boston.
I spoke with Dylan this morning and you can hear that conversation in tomorrow’s medley!
