This is a slightly different type of FriYay party. Oh, it’s mostly rock and roll but I threw a couple of quieter songs in just for those who like to chill out, too.
That’s why you get to hear George Thorogood and Bruce Springsteen in the same medley as Merrilee Rush and the Nitty Gritty Dirt Band.
Against my better judgment, I also threw in lot of “me” in between songs. For reasons I can’t begin to fathom, some people like it. Hey, it if it makes them happy … 🙂
I don’t ordinarily post anything on the weekend but I do have something coming up on Sunday 😉

Wow! What a way to end of the week! Fabulous choices here, had me dancing all over through the living room, and the dining room, and on to the kitchen. Starting to make a custard pie, and music to stir by! Gosh, I just can’t think of a better grouping of songs, and the man who made it all possible for us! Wonderful doesn’t even express how it made me feel. Loved it all from Badfinger all the way through the Springsteen. Ray, you’re the best! Have a fabulous weekend! 🥰

Loved this!! Most of all Mr Bojangle!! I still think nobody did it like Sammy Davis!! Rhonda never did help me and I sure could have used it!! Thanks for reminding me about Kings Day!! I forgot it was twelve days after till they got there!! And by the way the intro to the Beatles was a little funny!! Ray I remember when the lights went down in the city!! It was a great Journey!! Wow long time since I’ve herd Merrilee!! I believe she got a Grammy for that song!! What a silly question Ray who do you love(all of us comes to mind!!) Nothing like a little Steely Dan!!
