It’s another Throwback Thursday and the memories are flowing! We are playing another dozen songs today with the emphasis on some of the older classics. You’ll find rock and roll hits, doo-wop hits, lovely ballads, and a patriotic song that climbed to #1 in 1966.
I’m going to throw out this reminder again for those of you who wake up before 6:00, which is when I send emails out to those who get the link that way, or a few others who get it at the same time via private messages on Facebook.
There is a quicker way to start listening. Just type Raylemire.com into browser any time after 3:00 in the morning and you will be instantly directed to the most recent memory medley!

Very kind of you to mention Dylan. His surgery is scheduled for next Friday (Jan. 13th) and of course we’re all very hopeful. I’m so glad you enjoyed the music.
Have a wonderful day!
Another great set of tunes you’ve chosen. Loved them…I listened twice.
May you have everything your heart desires as well 🙂
Thank you, Eileen 🥰
It’s always nice to know listeners enjoy the music! You get a star for listening wice. 🙂
What I desire is to have people get along with each other. That may sound like a crazy fantasy but it is my dream.
You really rocked the birdies with this one and me too! Thanks for taking me back to the good old days.
Nancy, thank you and those fabulous birdies for making my day! ❤️
Thanks for a dailey dose of spirit lifting tunes
We’re glad you are continuing to feed your heart’s desire
Thanks, Mary Helen 🥰
I hope everyone tries to constantly feed their heart’s desire. Living with a smile on your face is much better than the alternative. 🙂
Just now listening to today’s medley but wanted to wish Dylan a successful surgery and a complete recovery. Thoughts and prayers headed his and you way.
Thank you, Marty. Your prayer means a lot. 🥰
Dylan has been in so much pain for the last 9 months. He is very, very anxious to have this surgery. My daughter Wendy will be flying to Pittsburgh the day before his operation and will be there to care for him for about a week.
Again, a very sincere thank you!
Swaying to the oldies, while remembering the good times. A lot of memories in these songs today. Also wondering, as hearings for a new house speaker go on and on, AS Kenney Chesney asks,” can’t we all get along?”
Thank you, Pat, I’m very happy the memories flowed for you. 🥰
Mr. Chesney is right!
Ray,
I couldn’t sleep so I went back in time with your music. AWESOME!!! You always have the best to make me smile.
Thoughts and prayers for Dylan.
Thank you, Linda 🥰
I’m so pleased to know the music made you S-M-I-L-E! 🙂
Your prayers for Dylan are very much appreciated. ❤️
Just now getting to the Smedley, and I just couldn’t be any happier. These songs were so carefully selected and so memorable for folks like me, and all my other friends. Gosh, thinking back to when these were popular things that were going on in the world is such an eye-opener sometimes. You have such great forethought when you’re putting these together knowing that you’re probably gonna get some kind of response from some oldie but goodie people. I see that Dylan surgery is scheduled for the 13th, a day before my birthday! What a great present, that will be! Wishing all the very best, and sending prayers. Thank you Ray for the usual, and for the over achiever that you are! You’re the best! 🥰
Thank you, Sandy 🥰
I am very happy you enjoyed the music! Thank you so much for the prayers for Dylan! ❤️
