Christmas Memories

We continue playing songs with a more serious approach to Christmas. There are many more to come and it is my hope that they make you pause and remember the songs that touched your heart.

Today’s medley includes a song that is one of Wendy Plante’s favorites. It may or may not be familiar to you, but listen to Aselin Debison’s song and you’ll understand why Wendy loves it.

I’m working my way to a big finish on Friday. This whole week is filled with what I like to think is the really “good stuff” when it comes to Christmas songs. I’m so glad you enjoyed today’s edition!

      Thank you, Mary Helen 🥰
I appreciate the kind words. Wendy introduced me to that song several years ago. It is very beautiful.

Great selections. I can see I will be playing these along with the others throughout the season. Lots of company coming and I’m sure that they will enjoy it as well!

I listen to this yesterday, and wondered why I never heard anything from you, but the joke was on me, I never left a response. What was I thinking? I guess the blonde hair kicked in! Lol this was great. Of course, I loved Elvis, and also listening to Perry Como once again. I was delighted to hear Wendy song, which I had heard a long time ago, and only reason I say, that is because I seem to remember some of the words. A lovely touching song. That’s what this season is all about touching our nerves and making us remember and making us realize what this holiday means to everyone! John Denver was a hit with me always will be. I think he was such a talented man! And Josh Groban has such a powerful voice, I actually have him on a duet with Barbra Streisand from long time ago, where she recorded with many other artists and sang duets. I just thought it was fabulous then. And the Trans-Siberian Orchestra, is one of my all-time favorites, as far as I’m concerned, they could take over the holiday, if you love that kind of music! I also have a couple of CDs. From Mannheim Steamroller. They are a powerful group as well. Thank you Ray for this it was absolutely over the top. Fabulous! You’re the best! 🥰

I can tell you are really in the Christmas spirit … but I think you are most of the year! I’m with you on Wendy’s song. It is a beautiful song with such a powerful message. And just as I can never go wrong with a Beatles song, I feel he same way about Tran-Siberian!
