Country Christmas

We have arrived at Christmas week and it’s time to turn our attention to songs that represent the reason for the season.

I hope as the week progresses, the songs will fill your heart with Christmas spirit.

Today’s medley is loaded with country music superstars, and it includes a father-daughter duet from 1993 that I know Pat Conant loves.

This was such a peaceful Medley! All of those beautiful Christmas songs that we identify with, sung by a myriad of wonderful country singers. I love the beginning with Alan Jackson, and the powerful voice of Scotty McCreery, who is from right here in North Carolina. The duet song by Vince Gill and his daughter was superb, but then again everything Vince Gill sings is Superb. Dwight Yoakam’s silent night made me tear up a little. I always identify with music at a time and place. Thank you for this Ray and Dylan! I hope you both have the happiest of holidays, and celebrate with your families, and those near and dear! Ray, you’re still the best! 🥰

From a “country girl”, this was just perfect, Ray. I don’t know how you remember all my favorites!! God, please let there be peace on earth, and let it begin with me.

Ted is baking cookies so I started today’s medley. Just before the 2nd song started I said to him that I thought it would be nice to listen to some Christmas music while he was baking cookies for Christmas. Then the song started & we both looked at each other. Needless to say we both enjoyed the medley. Happy Holidays however you celebrate to all & thank you & 🙂 to our man of music.
