It’s another Hump Day filled with musical memories and a side order of 4 Christmas songs.

Love Johnny Cash, I think he was one of the greats in country music. His ring of fire is smashing! Holy cow Tennessee Ernie , it was a favorite of my mom and dad. Haven’t heard Johnny Rivers in eons. Loved hearing the iconic Jerry Lee Lewis. Oh my goodness, Ricky Nelson, I never really thought he would have a career in singing and felt like it was just a spin off from the show with his parents, Ozzie and Harriet. I loved listening to the Christmas songs, and my favorite ones still have not played yet some of the more traditional Christmas carols. This was a great medley, captured my attention all the way through. Thank you Ray, you’re the best! 🥰

      Thank you, Sandy 🥰
I’m glad you enjoyed this one! By the way, when I switch to nothing but Christmas music next week, I’ll be playing a LOT of the traditional Christmas songs. 🙂

Always enjoy your tunes with my coffee. I shared the Hawiian Christmas song with a friend who lived in Hawaii for many years. It’s her favorite 🙂
    Have a wonderful day !

you did it again my friend!! What a great start with Johnny Cash .. ring of fire!! Can’t go wrong with TEF … you load 16 tons, I owe my soul to the company store! Johnny Rivers – I’m the one called the 7th son. Jerry Lee did okay with this, I personally like Kenny Rogers and the 1st Edition version better…Just checked in to see what condition my condition was in ……..
Gotta include Frosty .. love it. Driving home for Christmas to finish it off!!!
Now gotta get back to work .. finish out my last hour for the day.
    Have a great evening

      Thank you, Penny 🥰
Glad you enjoyed it! I prefer the First Edition version, too, but I thought hearing the original version was interesting. Hope that last hour went by fast!
      Have a wonderful night. 🙂

Excellent selections again, Ray. The last song was a tearjerker for me. So many family members no longer with us. But we always have the memories.

      Thank you, Pat 🥰
The loss of family members always seems to hit the hardest this time of year, but you’re right about the memories. Cherish them. ❤️

Great way to start Wednesday’s medley but JLL really caught my attention when I heard what he was singing, love the song but didn’t realize he did it 1st! Also loved Ek’s Christmas song, actually I enjoyed them all but have to admit I looked up Chris Rea, interesting voice but I don’t remember him but I should now. 🙂

      Thanks, Lee 🥰
I think it’s safe to say if Jerry Lee has released it first, it would now be a Forgotten 45 and the First Edition might never have taken off.
I’m glad you enjoyed Chris Rea’s version of that song!
