A few memories for Tunesday (nice word) 1965 or 6 there was a carnival at the plaza with rides; one was playing the song “She’s got a ticket to ride” so Sherry Smith & I got off & bought more tickets & rode again. I think it might have been a ferris wheel, used to like those. Just this am was thinking I’m really more a Summer person. Remember Ted practicing “Donna” when he started singing. I’m sure he’s thinking the same thing. I’m pretty sure I bought my 1st Gyrds album at Britts when a classmate (who knew his music then & now) was working. Today I am just listening & enjoying music w/o doing anything else. My favorite way. Thanks for the tunes 🙂

      Thank you, Lee 🥰
I always love your comments because they are filled with memories! (whatever happened to that classmate at Britt’s?) 😉

She’s got a ticket to ride, but she don’t care! Oh, my gosh, how much I love the Beatles, and how they have just remained timeless! And oh, those lazy hazy crazy days of summer! Nat “King” Cole could sure nail those songs. The daydream believer as sung by the Monkees was a treat. Loved Donna performed by Ritchie Valens. I’m doing the turn turn turn like the Byrds! Brooke Benton has such a beautiful voice with his Rainy Night in Georgia. Love the Capris! Oh, and then here come the Christmas music – – – José Feliciano, singing, Feliz Navidad! Love it! Andy Williams, still love his music to this day. He is one of the major crooners of all time! Dean Martin is a better one. Brings me back to years ago my dad loved Dean Martin, and thought there was just nobody like him. He may be right! Then we have the most popular Pentatonix, the best a cappella group ever! Just could listen to them forever. Well, I’m kind of sad this is entered for today, but I sure do have tomorrow to look forward to, God willing! Thank you Ray you’re the best! 🥰

      Thanks, Sandy 🥰
It was Wendy who got me hooked on Pentatonix. They are sensational!
Your commentary is fantastic! You are the female version of Fred!

    Pentatonix the modern doo wop!
    Great holiday selections
When I was a Grinch about Christmas music I was thinking carols. The holiday selections are great!
As always thanks for the music memories

      Thank you, Mary Helen 🥰
I will be getting a little more “traditional” next week, but very few of them will be Christmas carols. Until then, I hope you continue to enjoy the songs!

Singing isn’t my strong suit, either, but that doesn’t stop me from trying. 🙂 I am very glad you enjoyed the music!
