Musical Memory Lane

It’s a musical trip down Memory Lane! We’ve got rock/pop/R&B music from the 50s all the way up to the 80s, including a tribute to two singers who passed on this date in music history.

And yes, we have two more Christmas songs. Next week, we’ll pick up the pace but for now, it is just two songs a day.

A very big thank you to everyone who left such lovely comments on yesterday’s medley from Dylan. They were very much appreciated. ❤️

Wow, great medley. Really like that there are a couple Christmas songs added into the music. It is much nicer than non-stop Christmas carols & the chattering really ties it all together like a big bow. I must say the Superlatives were impressive. Dylan has been keeping secrets but with such a great speaking voice I am not surprised. Years ago my daughter Roseanne told me she had bought herself a present & she wanted me to do it for her so I recorded Twas the Night Before Christmas for her & have since done others for family. Still can’t sing but I some times do. Now what I have just written I call chattering but Ray your commentary personalizes & narrates the music. You are what I feel a DJ should be & your best friend Dylan too. 🙂

Dylan is a multi-talented guy. He really is an extraordinary singer.
I’m happy the music was pleasing for you. I’m also so glad you enjoy my chattering, although I will never begin to understand why. 😉

Early morning sing a song! Yes, what a way to get a good start. This was such a delightful medley, with funny songs, and a couple. Great Christmas songs. Loved the superlatives! And, of course, my one of my favorites of all time is Roy Orbison taken away too soon. He has one of the most powerful voices some of those notes just make you want to sing at the top of your lungs, or at least I do. And I loved him being with the Wilburys. I hadn’t heard the Dobie gray song in a long time, and I loved ending with the diamonds, strolling across the floor! This was fantastic I reserve the right to play it again! Ray, you are the best! I do just wanna add one more thing, and that is, that I will miss hearing Dylan‘s voice. He is a master at this at such a young age. I’m hoping for all the best for him, and look forward to some Comments from you now and again, to let us know how he’s doing! Cheers baby!! 🍷❤️

      Thanks, Sandy 🥰
It’s hard to believe Roy was only 52 when he passed. He had the best voice I have ever heard.
I just got off a video chat with Dylan and he promised to let people know how he’s doing. ❤️
