Dylan is in a rocking mood so he decided to go back to 1968 for some of that year’s classics. He couldn’t have picked a better year!
This medley will have you moving so make sure you put on your dancing shoes!
It’s all part of another FriYay celebration!

Omg Ray I absolutely love this mixed, I probably shouldn’t have listened to it at 4:47am in my bedroom as I sort of woke my husband up jamming to it.
Thank you for a fabulous birthday of energy n memories
Thanks, Victoria, but this medley was all Dylan’s baby! π₯°
Glad you enjoyed the mix, Victoria! Happy Birthday!
This was a good one Dylan! If this didnβt get everybodyβs blood flowing, I donβt know what will. I love starting off with sly and the family Stone., and Steppenwolf, I have on my phone and I play in the car all the time! And I absolutely love the beach boys. They are one of my favorite groups of all time, I have a CD that has 26 tracks on it from them that I just love. This was awesome and I am definitely looking forward to your next madly! Superb, son!
Thanks Sandy! I’m glad you enjoyed the medley, I really liked these songs too π Enjoy your weekend!
Dylan, you got it!!! I’ll be rocking all weekend with this group of songs from the wonderful year of 1968. You and Ray have a great weeeknd.
Thank you Nancy, you have a great weekend as well! π
I do like all of the other genres, but you know that rock is my favorite. Great job, Dylan! I always look forward to Fridays and take them with me over the weekend. And, Dylan, that second song in 1968, I was 15 and working a life-guard job in Nashua, NH. The following summer, when my family moved to Springfield, I lifeguarded and attended Woodstock. Then moved to Springfield, Vt. only to be made to cut my hair twice and get rid of the plaid pants and striped bell-bottoms. They weren’t ready for that yet. So….I kind-of ended up with the “hippie” crowd in Springfield and was given a “Don’t bring drugs into town” speech from the Ass-istant principle.
Was not partaking in drugs at that time. Probably one of the only ones at Woodstock! Later…maybe.
Sounds like you had a hell of a time Jim πππ I’m glad the music brought you some good memories!
Dylan you have obviously learned the ropes from your grand father
You’ve passed the understudy test with flying colors and even your voice is similar
BTW enjoyed your rockin medley for Friyay
Thank you very much Mary Helen. I’m glad you enjoyed the music as much as I did! π
Thanks Dylan! This year holds lots of memories including aaah…. graduation from Hartford High School. Great times.
Enjoying it all,
Jane
Happy to hear it Jane! Enjoy your weekend!
Listening on this dark and rainy Saturday-a pick-me up for sure. The Rascals song is sure meaningful in this time of so much discord in the world. Great job, Dylan.
Thank you Pat, I’m glad your spirits were lifted! π
Sunday, 12/4/2022 It’s FriYay on a Sunday & Ted & I are enjoying the 1968 medley (me especially). In keeping with the theme in 1968 The Beatles released a song “Sunday Morning.” It was about Sunday being a day of rest & relaxation but also a day of reflection & appreciating life. So Dylan (& Ray) just want to thank you for the music & the memories (& maybe I’ll listen on the day posted & maybe not but I will be listening π
Glad you enjoyed it Lee π
