As has been the case lately, this medley will feature a little bit of everything; pop ballads, R&B classics, electric blues, country rock, British pop, early rock, and a ending that hopefully will have your toes tapping!

Ray I am really enjoying the time this am sitting with my coffee and thinking about how lucky I am to do so!!nancy and I are going through are things that we don’t need for the people here that lost everything!! And hearing your voice in the mix is such a nice touch!! I think back the 60+ years we’ve been friends I new early on your voice would be on the air somewhere!! I don’t know what brought that memory up but that’s what you do!! You bring back memories anyway Connie Francis was a pleasant surprise!!
Love ya (Nancy is singing along with J Giles!!)
Thanks, Fred (and Nancy, your songbird) 🥰
It is no surprise to me that the two of you would be going the extra mile to help out those in such need. Special people do that kind of thing, and both of you are very, very special. ❤️
Now, as for my voice, I appreciate your kind words but I have never really enjoyed the sound of it. I don’t talk much on these medleys because I tend to think people will be just fine without hearing me. That said, I promise to keep doing it because there have been so many positive comments about hearing them!
I really don’t want to say I told you so lol it makes it feel like you are doing this for us when you. Add that voice of yours into the mix!! So please continue!!
Love ya
My dear friend, I AM doing this for all of you. 🥰

Thank you, Nancy! ❤️
Wow, that is some fancy footwear … and some very nice toe tapping!
Terrific! I could listen to Otis Redding all day, and what a treat to hear Connie Francis with her where the boys are! But another great hit was the Brooks & Dunn song. The red dirt road, so famous in Nashville. I used to live just up the road from Ronnie Dunn. I love how you have mixed in oldies but goodies with country. I think it’s so important that all of us no matter what kind of music we love, We get to hear it on streaming all this. I also wanna add that I thought it was so fun to hear the silken voice again doing the liners. Ray thank you so much, you’re the best! 🥰
Thank you, Sandy 🥰
I am very happy to know the inclusion of a country music song or two doesn’t bother you (and a few others). Your blog comments are very inspiring. They make me want to try just a little bit harder. I so appreciate you!
Lovin’ these memories even more
Nothing like leaving us with the energy of J Geils Band to get us over the hump!
Connie Francis what a voice!
The country selections were right on
Thanks again for helping us to keep on rocking
Thank YOU, Mary Helen 🥰
It is always nice to read your encouraging comments. I sincerely appreciate your wonderful support!
I love these mixed-up memories! It’s a wonderful zig-zag trip down memory lane for me, just as life has been. I enjoy all kinds of genre’s of music.
Thank you, Jim. I try (I really do) not to make things boring and predictable. 😉
what a wonderful medley … why am I not surprised as it is put together by an amazing man!! My favorite is Otis Redding .. Sittin here resting my bones sounds like me these days .. LOL Brooks and Dunn .. down that red dirt road, I think we can all relate to the story of this song! Toby Keith is awesome, he doesn’t mince words with his songs and I am praying for him 🙁
Connie Francis has a beautiful voice.
Unfortunately I gotta get back to work .. only an hour to go! 🙂
Have a wonderful day you dear man ..
XXOO
Thanks, Penny 🥰

Great mix today, Ray. We all love that DJ voice!!
Thanks, Pat. 🥰
AS I have said elsewhere, this DJ isn’t enamored with his voice but if that’s what people enjoy, I’ll keep doing it. 🙂
