Tuesday’s Tunes

Before I get to today’s medley, please let me apologize for my poorly written comments yesterday. I never meant to imply that I was worried about how many listeners I have. I never meant to imply that I was tired of creating the medleys. What I was trying to express was my concern that I was running out of ideas for playlists.

And then it hit me … after reading your blog comments, email responses and Facebook private messages, it finally hit me. I was much too focused on “themes.” And so these excursions into our musical past will be filled with tunes with no connection to anything other than the fact that ALL of these songs are a vital part of the soundtrack of our lives.

Thank you all for your encouraging words. They truly did hit home.

      Thanks, Sandy 🥰
I am so pleased the medley evoked some memories for you! Of course, only I could start with a Peaceful Easy Feeling and end with Tequila!
      I’m glad you smiled!

Thank you Mr DJ for a delightful medley!
Better than any radio station of our youth!
Forgot how much I loved the sax on Stormy and of course very different on Tequila
You stumped me with the Fleetwood Mac selection. Loved that band, but don’t remember the song…
You feed my mind and soul regularly

      Thnks, Mary Helen 🥰
It wouldn’t take much to be better than the radio of our youth. Our local station was a joke!
The Fleetwood Mac song, written by Lindsey Buckingham about the breakup of hi relationship with Stevie Nicks, was the lead song on their Rumours album.
As always, I am so glad you enjoyed the music.
