A Very Mellow Thursday

It has been a hectic ten days. Start with the devastating damage done by Hurricane Ian, then throw in the nut job in Russia threatening to pull the nuclear trigger in Ukraine, and add in the fact that Ministers from OPEC+ announced yesterday they would cut oil production by 2 million barrels a day in a move expected to dramatically raise gas prices. It’s no wonder people are tense.

It may not make an ounce of difference, but I’m here to offer a 30-minute respite. Yep, it’s a medley filled with music on the mellow side.

Surrender then and fall to its embrace.
Relax and let the music soothe your fevered brow.

Melli is the word! If I didn’t have so darn much to get done today, I would go back to bed! Ha! Ha!

Love these songs and their singers!

As always, I appreciate you taking the time to listen, and if it helped to put you in a good frame of mind, that is exactly what I was hoping for.

Listened to this today (Friday) b/c I had to go out of town to my cousin’s funeral, so many services for friends and family lately…a function of age?
These melodies certainly soothed my soul
    Thank you

      Thank you, Pat 🥰
The S&G song is from their final album, Bridge Over Troubled Water.

A wonderful selection of mellow songs. I didn’t get to listen to this on the day that it was posted, cause that was the day of my surgery. They kept me busy for the minute I got there until I was discharged that afternoon. This was so lovely to listen to all of the songs I identify with everyone of them as being favorites of mine when they became hits. Thank you for this and now I am going to listen to the rockin Friday one. Ray, you’re the best! 🥰
