TGIF! We finally come to the end of the requested songs today and I do want to thank all of you who took part.

I have saved these high energy rock classics until today so you can jumpstart your weekend on a very high note.

I’ll be back on Monday and I’ll be playing more ‘conventional” hits from the 50s, 60s and 70s. Hopefully you’ll join me once again.

    Nice build up with the musical medley this morning 🙂 You amaze me & I think I can safely add all of your listeners with your ability to take random song choices & put them together for those who want to listen. Hope you have a pleasant, peaceful weekend. Will look forward to Monday. In the meantime I may spend some time in the orchid room (color of not flowers) where I am sorting through records (alphabetizing by artists, etc.) & old toys.

      I sincerely appreciate your very kind comments. They make all the “work” worthwhile!
      My weekend is going to consist of watching college football all day on Saturday and working on medleys on Sunday. That, to me, is peaceful and pleasant.
      Yours sounds fascinating, as well!

    Ray when you put a mix like this together for this rocking group how can we not like everybody’s choices!! And for some the rockin chair feels rather good!! Now I am going to try and not sing out of tune!! I don’t have to worry cause I got a lot of help from my friends!! Love ya

      I’m afraid when I get back to choosing the songs next week, people may say, “Hey, how about more requests!” I tend to play it safe and stick to the well-known hits but there is certainly something to be said about venturing outside the “safe zone.”

    Perfect way to start the weekend! If we aren’t all rocking by now there must be something very wrong with us!! Wow ending up with Black Sabbath I had completely forgotten that band haven’t heard it in years. I’m still moving around I’m done listening to the music but my body is still moving around and looking for something else. So I’m headed out to the back deck to do a little cleanup work, refill the birdfeeder, and smell some of that beautiful fresh air that we been Graced with! Have a rocking good weekend Ray, and remember, you’re the best! 🥰

    Just finished listening to this medley. Doing a little hurricane prep and the music has been the perfect diversion. Some really good tunes were requested and skillfully assembled for all of us to enjoy. Hope you are relaxing a bit this weekend Ray.
