Thank you, Fred! I appreciate the kind words but today’s music (and the music that will be following for several days) is all because a lot of people jumped on the music train with some wonderful and diverse requests. It certainly is making my “job” easier.
      Love Ya!

It is listeners like you who make whatever contributions I make a lot easier. And it is people like you who inspire me to try just a little bit harder.
      Thank You!

  3. Jim

You’ve got some great followers, Ray! You did that. Thank you!

It is, as one very wise person recently told me, my “purpose.” Thank you, Jim.

Sitting in the waiting room at the Chevy dealership, waiting for a new wiper motor to be installed in “Rusty” ( Named by my grandson for obvious reasons).

Bobbing my head and tapping my feet to the music coming through my hearing aids. I wonder what the others think in the waiting area? Then, I really don’t care. I’m having fun and I don’t think anyone else is! LOL

We are so fortunate to have grown up listening to this music. This medley highlights the diversity of the artists we all enjoyed.
We are also fortunate that your efforts put this music at our fingertips today.
Thank you Ray Lemire, we look forward to the medleys everyday!

Thank YOU, Marty, for listening and then taking the time to comment. Your very kind words put a smile on my face. You’re right, we did grow up in an era filled with the best music ever made!

Wow!! What a way to start the requests. This was super fantastic, I loved every single song it’s like hit after hit after hit! Course you know I love Tommy James and the Shondells Crimson and Clover was played twice. And I loved all the rest but I just gotta say ending up with AC/DC, should’ve woken the world. How to get it on. Thanks so much Ray this was fantastic I can’t imagine what part two will be. Hope you have a fabulous day Mr. Rock on, you’re the best!

      Thank you, Sandy 🥰
To be completely honest, someone requested “anything” from Tommy James so I decided to play Crimson & Clover because that would satisfy them AND I know you love it!
I appreciate the fact that ending with AC/DC was a good idea! 🙂

TBH requests are fine but can be listened to any time on music media.
I enjoy the medleys you create with themes or history and the back stories you provide
I guess the request medleys show how you grouped the requests
I’m a believer in how music enriches the soul any time any way

Let me honest with you, Mary Helen. Playing nothing but requests came about for several reasons It shows me what type of music listeners enjoy. That’s important to me because the songs that usually get played are songs I select. Doing this allowed me to let the listeners play “DJ” for a few days. I promise things will return to “normal””shortly. 🙂

      Thank you, Penny 🥰
The bones of music are the universal rhythms within us all. They wash the dust of everyday life away from the soul.
And you have a beautiful soul.

  9. Pat Conant

Love all of these, and really enjoy hearing what others’ favorites are. What a diverse group we are, and you always string these together so well. Look forward to the rest of the “requested”. songs

      Thank you, Pat. 🥰
I’m sure, as we go along during the next few days, there are going to be songs that aren’t everyone’s cup of tea, but those will be few and far between. I am so glad you enjoyed Part 1. 🙂
