He may not look his age but Ringo Starr turns 82 today!
That means it’s time for a medley of some his best known solo songs. No, you won’t hear anything from his days as a Beatle (Yellow Submarine or With A Little Help From My Friends, for example) because Ringo has a well-established solo career and can certainly stand on his own.
To be sure, he received a lot of help from his former bandmates, especially during the early part of his solo career, but he did the same for them.
So here are ten of his hit solo songs (yep, that’s Paul singing with him on the ninth song). Peace and Love!

Ringo’s Birthday Medley
Happy 82nd birthday Ringo! The man sure does look good for 82. It’s amazing that he still has a singing voice with obviously plenty of lung expansion. I’m always interested in those kinds of things. He has a great voice I have to admit that I never really listen to him sing solo as a request, but this was fantastic and he sure doesn’t disappoint. And neither do you Ray you never disappoint you are always a hit in my book! You’re the best! 🥰
Thank you, Sandy 🥰
In my opinion, he now has a better singing voice than Paul. I’m glad you were pleasantly surprised. 🙂
☮️&❤️will be chanted at Noon as directed
As did I ☮️&❤️
I remember seeing that Ringo and I share a Birthday and wondered why I didn’t know that when I was 13….it’s because back then my Birthday was July 5th. I didn’t find out it was really the 7th until I was 23 🙂
Thanks for the memories, Ray
Thanks, Eileen 🥰
That had to be strange, finding out at that age that until then you had no idea your birthday was on a different date! Anyway, I’m sure Ringo would be happy to share July 7th with you!
Peace and Love ☮️&❤️
