A Blast From The Past!

When I started putting this medley together, I got a little carried away. It started out as a 10-song mix but that soon grew to 14 songs, and before it was over, I had strung 18 songs together!

I felt bad about it at first but I soon got over it. It’s music – very good music – so while the medley may last nearly 53 minutes, my attitude is if it’s good, then more is better!

Have a rockin’ great weekend! 🙂

I still get Temptations about how much I love my girl!!(love this song)Cara Mia Ray then to slip right into Roy!! My goodness Ray have mercy Jay reminds me of Roy!! Fantastic voices!! We all know you’ll always slip a pretty women into the mix!! I got down on my kness(and thanked God for another day)and said to myself no more winter days!! Wow Ray when was the last time we went to Strawberry fields?? As I recall nothing was real so I think it was just a dream! Wouldn’t it be nice if nothing really mattered!! I think that poor girl did find a spot in paradise! Ray when was the last time you played the tambourine?? I played but I could never hear it over the drums! I thought it was far the Byrds anyways. Did Beau finally ever go away? I think he had to hide is love away! Ray I must say I’ve never lost that lovin’ feelin’! It may sound Righteous but it’s true. Ray one of the Ronettes wants you to be her baby!! Be careful there may be a Cyrkle in their plan. I should have know it will be alright but if you keep running into that red rubber ball it might hurt(lost my thought)! Now you know that the Steppenwolf was born to be wild. How many times did I have to remind you of that?? Ray Fortunate Son as you know Fogerty played this at the White House for then President Obama and he did serve!! What a song(what a story that was)! Let’s get back to the midnight hour after all we all were Young Rascals. The crowd called out for more!! Just that Hammond Organ solo made me like this song. (damn wants me to play again!) Nobody has to be right or wrong don’t let paranoia get in your way besides that I just started to pick up some good vibrations so don’t listen to Bob Dylan sayin’ you need to stand in his shoes, that’s a whole other story!! So Ray today was such a great mix!! And I feel that all these songs had such great lyrics to them!! Can’t wait for next week!! love ya!!

Ray, this was fabulous I could listen to this all day! All of these songs belong together, so when you say this turned out to be a little too long I’ll think it was fabulous. All of my faves specially love the righteous Brothers. I will definitely miss your being gone for the summer, because I do look forward to every single one of these.Thank you so much for all of your efforts to put this together for us, it is certainly a fulfilling gesture. I’m still rocking and rolling! You’re the best!!

Thanks, Mary Helen. Dylan was supposed to play after the Byrds but someone screwed up!
