Motown For Tim

I received quite a few responses to my request for song suggestions last week. One of them came from Tim Johnson Arsenault – who I am dubbing Kaptain Karaoke – who asked for some Motown artists so he could sharpen his skills.

I hope this medley does the trick for Tim, and I also hope you enjoy it, too! Don’t forget to let me know if there are songs or artists you want to hear. Just leave a comment below!

I only knew a couple of the songs in this one, but thoroughly enjoyed listening!

I missed the suggestion day, because of things going on at the moment. I would love to hear a medley of my favorite female artists. Nanci Griffith, Kathy Mattea, K.D. Lang, and last but not least Reba!

      Thanks, Wendyl ❤️
As I was putting the medley together, I could almost envision Tim and you performing as a duo, singinging Marvin Gaye/Tammi Terrell songs!
      Glad you enjoyed it!

Gave a 45 of Can’t Hurry Love as a farewell token to my french Fulbright teacher that lived with my family junior year.
Enjoyed some lesser known tunes by Motown greats

Tim you can’t go wrong with these tunes!! Ray fantastic tunes!! I believe in Miracles the Temptations are strong in you Ray!! I only hope you don’t have the tears of a clown anymore!! I often Wonder if your Supreme knowledge came from that game of give and take and I remember Mama said you could spin the Four Tops but it was always to Smokey!! But she always called to say I love you !! So I am going to go to Mowtown and find that magic!! (must be the med’s Ray) Stay warm love ya!!

This was super fantastic! How could anybody beat the Motown sound!! Each song was great, and since I use power of association for everything in life, I felt teleported back in time with a couple of these songs. So great thanks so much for all the thought that goes into these medleys I will try to get you my list of who I would like to hear as soon as I can it’s just difficult to sit for any length of time, and not lose my train of thought. Sounds like a problem but it’s really not! Lol you’re the best Ray! 🥰

      Thanks, Sandy! 🥰
Sending listeners back in time is what I aim for every time I put together a medley … so glad you enjoyed this one.
FYI … Your Tommy James song will be included in Friday’s medley! 🙂

Tim is a retired radio legend from the Brattleboro area. He’s one of the nicest guys I know.
