Monday Music Medley

The question is this. Do I start the week with a sledgehammer or do I get you into the new week with gentle rock and roll?

I decided on a compromise. 🙂

You’re still damn good, no one’s gotten to you yet

Ray your still the same and some things never change!! I wonder if we all know where the name Steely Dan came from(I had to look this up as I knew it meant something interesting)And interesting enough I read Chevy Chase played drums way back when!! And that Women in the Black Dress she had it all!! So will you give me your money please?? The lyrics of the Middle Of The Road really interesting you see the darnest things!! Ray I’ve said to much!!But it was just a dream!! Let’s take a Journey……Na na na na!! Loved it Ray Nice start for Monday Stay warm we are at 38!! Love ya

Hey Fred! Outstanding songs commentary! You tied them all together quite nicely. 🙂
Yes, the Steely Dan name origin is a very interesting story 😉
Chrissie Hynde didn’t hold back on those Pretenders lyrics!
Must feel a little strange to see 38 degrees down there. When I woke up this morning, it was minus 8 up here. At 11;00, it’s ALL the way up to 4 above!
Stay warm, my friend … Love Ya!

Thanks, Don. My favorite decade was clearly the 60s but every once in a while, I like to stray into the 70s (and beyond) because you’re right, good music IS timeless!
Tomorrow, it will be back to the 60s!

Wow! If this didn’t make you jump up out of your seat and dance around the room, I’m not really sure what could. This was awesome. Some of the songs I had forgotten. What a great selection to form your medley Ray! And now it’s my medley too. This was a great way to start the week, sorry I didn’t get to it yesterday. Importantly I’ve listened to it now. Thanks so much and once again I think we got us a winner! Rock on!
