We begin the fourth and final week of Christmas medleys. To be sure, the songs played this week will be focused on traditional music but that doesn’t start until tomorrow. Today, we’re going back one last time to the rock and roll side of things.
By the way, if you’ve never heard of the Texas Tornados, kindly turn in your rock and roll fan badge. The band was founded by Doug Sahm, guitarist and lead singer with The Sir Douglas Quintet (She’s About A Mover), and Freddie Fender (Before The Next Teardrop Falls).
You’re Welcome 🙂

Another great collection of songs, to brighten my day! Thank you for all that you do!
Thanks, Donna. 🥰
Tis the season and I am very happy to do it!
I went into facebook this morning just to hear your posts. Never a disappointment Ray … these songs make Christmas brighter and carry memories that make us smile. I can just see Chevy Chase at the kitchen window watching the gorgeous woman at his visualized pool strip down. How funny! Merry Christmas to you my friend …. can’t wait to see what tomorrow brings — but will enjoy today first.
Hope you’re Rocking It Out There!
Thank you, Barbara 🥰
This week’s music is going to become more and more “traditional” so I thought today would be a good day to have some Christmas fun. I’m so glad you enjoyed it.
Rock The Season!
First thing that showed up on my newsfeed this morning … great medley to start my short week .. now to just get through the next four days, then off til next year … lol
With giving of your time to put these wonderful medley’s together, I feel blessed to call you friend!

Mele Kalikimaka (Merry Christmas), Susan! 🥰
Who would think that Chuck Berry would do a Christmas tune that got me chair dancing right off the get go!! And I have no idea why it’s so foggy out!! I was simply drinking a beer trying to keep up with the days of Christmas song….Ray Bob and Doug said twelve then some one said something about a tornado and Shooting Srars thank goodness I only had ten beers!! And now for some reason I’m making french toast!! And who the heck puts beer in a tree??? And now they are telling me snow is fallin’ Maybe I’d better get back in bed!! Love ya and Merry Christmas!!
Fred, I really love the fact that you are so loaded with Christmas spirit. It makes my heart smile. 🥰
Love ya right back!
Wow what a great way to start the week! This was jumping and hopping! Loved listening to all of it and of course we all have memories of things or songs that remind us of occasions. This was a good thing, and I guess my favorite was John Mellencamp. Thank you for this! You are the best, and this medley was showing that you were on a roll, as in rock and roll! Lol
Thank you, Sandy 🥰
I thought switching to Christmas rock and roll might be risky but the response (including yours) has been wonderful.
I promise the music will become more calm and spirit filled as the week progresses.
Ray, These are toe tapping Christmas songs! They make me get up and move! LoL 😂That’s not as easy as it was when I lived in VT. Laughing. Thank you for such pure, unadulterated joy! I have certainly enjoyed this Christmas gift and trip you’ve given me!!! Merry Christmas my friend and May you have a very special New Year and a 2022 to be remembered.
Pete, thank you for the very kind words. I’m so pleased you enjoyed it. 🙂
Wishing you a very Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year!
As long as the songs were enjoyed, Don, that’s all that matters. 🙂
